So I'm wanting to model a Red Goblin Blaster or two for my Ogres. The crew part will be easy so we can skip that. I have a couple of Mantic Chariots, which I can use if it comes to it, but I need to figure out what to use as the barrels or the whole shebang, since I'm not super enamoured of the "official" model. I don't own any Renedra barrels, or the OK vehicle kits, but I do have a ton of other random models from various manufacturers, so I'm really just asking in here for ideas to cannibalise and bastardise.
Here's the "official" model. Which is fine in it's own way, but not really the aesthetic I want for my Ogres. (it's a bit madcap- GW-goblin for my liking in my Ogre army).

Do you have any IMEX chemical plant parts? Or do you have some wheels you can glue to an old medicine bottle/film canister/battery, and maybe some wire for a wick?

An extra question along this; the Mantic one is mounted on a 50x100mm base right? How bad would it be to make a blaster mounted on a 50x50mm base? I'm thinking of a suicide bomber style Ogre...

Yeah, it's a chariot base. I guess you could do it as a pair of ogres on a 50x100mm base.

Or you could do the suicide ogre pulling the cart - a lit stick of dynamite in his teeth.
And... now I want to do an Asian ogre, pushing 'The Baby Carriage From Hell'.

Heh, that is an option. I've got a bunch of GW Ogres laying around and a bunch of those "pack mule" gnoblars... tempting to try and chop off the sacks of random crap they're carrying and have them all carrying barrels or cartoon bombs. Goblin sappers!
