I think that is what you get when you pay somebody for "search engine optimization". More links to your site = higher search engine relevance, or something like that...

I’ve only ignored two people (who are similar enough I think it might be one) for asking questions and then belligerently ignoring advice when given. I still end up reading some of his threads because his questions often spark decent discussions.

There are some posters who’s opinion I respect for the type of meta they play in. The problem is their attitude that their way to play is the only way 40k is played. Once it sunk in to my head that while we use the same ruleset, we aren’t playing the same game, their posts become much easier to read, and grate on me less. It still bothers me when they answer new player’s questions with the assumption that they are playing in their meta (which might not be the case).

That and filtering good advice out of cynicism, negativity, a/o zealousness.

But I’m sure they roll their eyes when I wander into a thread and give casual, fluff based, touchy-feely advice.

Oh! I used to think Peregrine was a total warp spawn, but we actually agree on some things (very, very few things) and I've grown to not loath him utterly over the... has it been years now? Bloody hell.

I beg of you sarge let me lead the charge when the battle lines are drawn

The only person I really don't get along with is someone who has very a strong opinion, generally seems to belittle others, and has a link in his sig about how people who don't play with forgeworld are using a house rule. I too think he is total Warp Spawn

In all the posts I've seen of his, I have yet to agree with a single one. He really gets my goat, and one of these days I hope to eventually meet up with him either in a video game or in 40k game IRL and squash is ego right down the drain.

I've never really used the ignore tool, and I don't ever intend to. I generally like everyone else who i have had major contact with, and the Draconiclord is probably my best buddy on here that I don't already know IRL. (Being that he's the only one who posts regularly on my painting blog in my sig.)

Marrowick, Orgsbane, Shadow Angel, and to a lesser extent Some_call_me_tim? are all people I know and like

I don't always agree with Peregrine, but I find his arguments to consistently have a solid basis, and his post on why "there is no such thing as a friendzone" was one of the more insightful things I've read on these fora.

I also find Sebster and Dogma also build arguments well but that's not really a good analogy because I much more frequently agree with them, and so is offtopic, strictly speaking.

I don't use the ignore function. If I don't like something I either just let it go or respond, but I don't see the point in ignoring others. The only time I get really annoyed is when someone creates an incendiary post and then never posts again in the thread.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

If you could have done that in ten words of less it would have been a lot better. As it is you just seem a little butthurt yourself.

I was having quite the go around with LordofHats the other day on the thread about the lap dancing teacher, and things were getting fairly heated.
With one picture, he had me busting my ass laughing, then Kanluwen made a wry one line comment.

Usually the only threads where any posters find themselves death glaring one another (clearly waiting for their mutant eye beam powers to awaken from pure rage) are threads about politics/serious business. Any other thread, I genuinely enjoy Seaward, Whembly, Dreadclaw, Frazzled, and all the other posters I'm typically arguing with.

If I got super PO'd about every person I disagreed with in politics, damn I'd be PO'd at everyone Where's the fun in that? Leave the rage in the politics threads and enjoy the fun otherwise
