In 7th edition they blow out allies and divination? Also, I'm thinking psychic powers are getting nerfed, that would explain nids not getting BRB powers.

I don't think that they will nerf psyker powers or Divination, but I suspect a change in allies is afoot seeing as how certain alliances have warped the meta pretty badly. I don't like the idea of allies in the first place, but that is just me.

I'm fine with divination, but give it to EVERYONE!

I'm fine with allies, but make it so everyone is hunky-dory with everyone, or make it so that you can't cross-codex buff.

Tau has the same access to it that dark eldar and necrons do, no?

I think Allies was a great thing in theory, but from a competitive standpoint it makes no sense. For a beer and pretzels, "forge a narrative" game, Allies are awesome.

I think the bigger problem stems from allied IC's being able to join allied units and thus having dumb gak like Azreal's bubble save being applied across a giant blob of (now ATSKNF) Guardsmen, or the Baron joining a JetSeer Council and tanking all those wounds on his now re-rollable 2++, etc...
Sure it doesn't nerf Screamerstar, but to do it properly the Daemon player is sinking 800+ into a gimmick that can still backfire horribly. (or else can be neutered big time by simply killing Kairos and removing the re-roll on the Grimoire)

Rather than stopping allied units from using augments on each other, just fix the Blessings in general by allowing opposing psyker(s) to counter them in the first place.
Divination is only broken because you can't currently stop a Blessing power outside of 2-3 or so abilities.

I can't really say it helps that personally mainly because as a casual player myself we just say screw the rules when we want to . What's that? Well last game only a tactical squad and devastators survived. Can we not play with a HQ for this match? Righto then!

If allied ICs couldn't join units outside of their detachment, that would solve like 90% of the problems we have with allies. The psychic powers need to be shaken up so there's something worth taking aside from Divination. That's about it.

Well said, have an exalt. There's nothing wrong with Divination itself; it's the other psychic power tables that have too many problems. The other tables need to be redone so they have less "duds" on them.

Allies has to change...

The very FEW Battle Brothers in the existence of 40k are so terribly under powered as brothers in arms go that right now playing CSM + Daemons basically means you're playing Daemons with CSM used as fodder for unlocking a Heldrake.

Let me put Allied Battle Brothers in transports. Let me put allied Battle Brothers in the same squads as their brethren and screw that absolute bollocks of a rule that is Demonic Instability in terms of denying my units a CSM lord to accompany them. It doesn't fit the lore, it botches any actual method of playing fluff at all and hinders both armies immensely
