WarOne should be standing here with this itchy role around his neck! Truly there could not be another that is as likely to be the werewolf. I saw him walk past kronk once while the drunk was passed out. His arse was sticking out of his pants and was white as the full moon. When WarOne walked past this "moon" he got really sweaty like and kept on staring at his hands as if he was worried they might change. I saw the face of a scared and guilty man that day, it's not too late to reconsider and let me off this stool!

I'm a humble peddler of half arsed history of the far future and nothing more. I may be condemned for sending billions of fictional female virgins to their doom, but I'm currently a harvester of barley and nothing more.

End of Day Two, Beginning of Night Two

Another stands on the fat log beneath the great oak, tied to the sturdy old tree by a noose-knotted rope like some kind of mobid, reverse umbilical. He has said his peace, begged mercy from his neighbors, but none of his fellow Dakkadorfers seem moved in the slightest. Again, the fat log is kicked out from the doomed man's feet but this time there is no merciful snap signifying a quick end. There is a terrible twisting and kicking and gurgling but for naught. Soon the taut rope swings silently.

A diminished host of narrowed eyes searches for a sign of the beast-change ... but no, another innocent has died at the hands of the mob. Shamefacedly, the crowd look to one another. Surely a werewolf could not contain his mirth at the village's misfortune. But no eyes betray a feral nature as the sun sinks once again and the terrible night draws near. Time again to fasten the shutters, bolt the doors, and pray for another breath at the dawn.

I hope the count makes you all choke on your gakky beer you fethers! I tried to earn us favors from the count by brewing the finest beer there ever was, but instead you keep on electing a fool that has never heard of the Reinheitsgebot and a man who pours who-knows-what in his beer. A pox on all of you.

I wanted to make the best beer so the count would not kill us all, but I still collected the ingridients for this piss water and what is my thanks? A too-long time of chocking on the end of a too-short rope. Not only do you guys suck at making beer, you suck at lynching people! At least I get to watch WarOne kill one of you fethers tonight in your sleep!

Day Three

The night seemed interminable ... but at least it was a bit more quiet than the night before. Only one blood-curdling scream pierced the darkness.

Eldarcaveman has been killed. He was a Villager.

I am harvesting barley.

I vote Whitey for Bra Meister. So far everything has been going swimmingly under his peaceful, benevolent watch.

I've also had enough of WarOne questioning my sanity, he's clearly the wolf.

I don't know who to lynch though...

What gets me is just how mindless these killings seem to be. There have been no guard reports, and no attempts on the life of the braumaster, his most vocal supporter, or one of the main people involved in getting this village together - myself.

In fact, only those opposed to Whitey's braumastership have been taken out, but each time shown to be but humble villagers.

It seems to me that a campaign attempting to pin whitey, and the supporters of this village's continued existence, as being werewolves has been started - it's easy; the werewolf can throw all accusations at those who have the most to gain from the werewolf's strategic kills.

If the werewolf can have whitey lynched, then the villager will be without a braumaster, leadership, and another - in my honest opinion - innocent villager. With the braumaster dead and the village in disarray, nobody will be guarded, and either purple or me will feel the werewolf's teeth on their neck during the next night. With four people remaining, the werewolf can pin the murders on the last remaining follower of whitey, claiming that he had the most to gain from eliminating his fellows by focussing the village's ire, and reducing its innocent leadership to nothing. One final lynching, followed by one final murder in the night, would be all it takes for the werewolf to have outsmarted all of us by turning us against ourselves!

I say to him now, wherever he may stand amongst us, that I shall not stand for this! Under Whitey's leadership this village has stood firm and loyal to the Count! We - and the Count by extension - shall not be made fools of by an overgrown hound! Suspicion may very well fall upon Whitey and his supporters, but why not upon his opposition? Why, after all these deaths of Whitey's foes, do those that remain feel so safe in opposing him? The werewolf's mistake has been his own cockiness! Whitey offers us some semblance of safety - some small glimmer of hope - and yet still he faces enemies who are seemingly ignorant of the fates that befell their fellows.

Look not towards Whitey for treachery; look towards those who believed that Whitey's way was not the true way, and appear blissfully ignorant of the fates that met their fellow believers. There is no fear in their eyes, no doubt, only something that makes them think they are safe. The truth is that nobody here is safe, nobody but the werewolf, and he has made his final mistake by betraying himself through his arrogance.

WarOne has yet to claim allegiance to a master, perhaps because he needs no master, for he is his own. WarOne, stand you with us? Or stand you against us?
