It's a side scrolling platformer.
Score points to earn stars, stars unlock rewards and more gameplay areas.
weapons and armour are upgradeable.
different weapons have different properties.
Stormbolters, for example, have a high rate of fire, but can jam.
Combi-Plasma, can fire as a bolter, or if you hold down the fire button, can charge up a plasma bolt, which is more destructive.
Armour wise, different armours have different amounts of protection,
you can have upper armour, lower armour, helmet and backpack slots, You can get Apothecary armour which heals you while you wear it. the amount depends on the level and type.

Man how many space marine vs Ork games are there now?

IG vs Ork would be more interesting, but doesn't get made because it doesn't involve Space Marines.

I can't think of any 40k video game after Fire Warrior that doesn't have Space Marines fighting Orks at some point.

What about Dawn of War? Yes the campaigns are largely Space Marine oriented, but Winter Assualt had you playing as mostly IG vs Orks, Chaos, and a pinch of Eldar.

Game makers make games involving the single most popular and profitable thing that GW has in their IP (no, not Sisters).
