So how do yall think this would fare? And would you suggest red paint or rams on the trukks?
90 Warboss (big choppa, attack squig, bosspole, eavy armor)

120 3 Meganobz

40 Trukk (ram)

I could also drop the attack squigs to put paint and armor on those trukks, just to add a little first round survivability.

Drop the options on Warboss #1 to make him a Mega-Armored Warboss (100pts even). Change Options on Warboss # 2 to give him cybork, eavy armor, and a big choppa (80pts). Take RPJ over Rams on the Trukks. You'll want to get your boyz across the table as quickly as possible. That'll be 500 even and you should do pretty decent in the 500 point games.

I just played two games with this army, won the first lost the second. It was slightly changed. I took the rams off trukks and kitted my warbosses out with a powerclaw, a bosspole, and eavy armor.
Now, in the first game, I had plasmas shooting down on my trukk and blowing it up. I had to make a leadership save which I failed, so then I bosspoled and stayed alive. Bosspole was worth it.
The next game I had powerfist terminators instant death my nobz (I got them back and actually won but my warboss only had 1 wound left). So when I charged a basic tac squad, where a sergeant had a powerfist, I decided to challenge the bastard and save my squad. My squad was saved, but the sergeant got 3 hits on my warboss and just had to watch it fall... (the sergeant got his, though)
Although at the end of the day, the eavy armor did nothing.
The question is whether I should drop the bosspoles and get cyborks, or whether I should take the eavy away from one boss, put a cybork on my "warlord," and then just choose my targets better.

That's what i'd run. Imo, being able to reliably move through dt is much more valuable than those 1-2 inches. Might even help you stay alive thanks to easier cover.

You could probably drop one ram in favor of a bigchoppa on a second boss for s8 on a charge. Probably, Cybork on a boss at such low points is not mandatory but i just feel wrong when don't take it.

Btw how did a sergeant perform 3 attacks? Cause you don't get bonus attacks with a specialist's weapon unless you have a second one equipped also.
He either was a spacewolf or had a +1 attack from some named character (don't remember how's he called and if he still works the same way)

If you're running a MANZ list, you are going to want to run a MA Warboss with them. As it stands right now in our codex; 'eavy armor is great if you're expecting a lot of shooting coming your way and/or you're going into CC with normal troops. Hopefully this will change in the next codex to make Orks the awesome army that they really are (unto Matt Ward we pray to for deliverance... AAAAAaaaaameeeeeennnnnnn).

I don't know if I can fit it with my limited points, and I don't see why it is necessary. The only armor saves that my warboss had to take was from powerfists in challenges that would have ignored the mega-armor anyway, or from plasma cannons which would also ignore it. I guess if the nobz die and my boss is left on his own it still makes him a big force to reckon with...
We are gearing up for a 750 mini-tournament at my local shop so I'm thinking of just adding a 30 boy squad. I still can't get megaarmor though unless I lose two boys. Here's the list.
105 Warboss (powerclaw, bosspole, cybork, twin-linked shoota)
105 Warboss (powerclaw, bosspole, cybork, twin-linked shoota)
230 30 Shoota boy w. 2 big shootas and nob (PK, bosspole)
120 3 Meganobz
120 3 Meganobz
35 Trukk
35 Trukk
I might run the boy squad as sluggas and then just run them every turn instead of shooting. In that case I would remove the big shootas and have 10 more points to spare, enough I guess to give one of my warbosses megaarmor. Maybe it was some warlord trait?

Nope, he was just mistaken then. Powerfists are specialists weapons. Read that rule.
Instead of a TL-shoota u're better off with a combiflamer if you want it for some reason. On the other hand, i'd just take rams on trucks instead for this points.
The thing about megaarmor is that it costs 40 pts. and it's 2+, power klaw, tl-shoota. If you get Power klaw and rtl shoota it's gona be just 10 pts cheaper. 2+ save is often good - remember, at such low pts games not everyone is ap2.
And take the 3-d bigshoota on a nob in boy'z squads. However, i'm not sure if nobz will still be allowed to take bigshootas in new dex.

From what I've heard, every weapon is considered a 'upgrade' and cost points. That would explain why the points per boyz is going down if they're outfitted with a choppa and slugga and you have to spend maybe a point or two to make them Shoota Boyz.
Oh man, now that I think about it, that would be sweet; a full squad of boyz with nothing but Big Shootas? *drools at the possibilities*
