Worth mentioning is this:

The Terminator Captain comes with two bare heads, one scowling from behind a rebreather while the other sports a bionic eye.

There are also hints in the main page that the Terminator Captain will be available separately.

Yeah, the website doesn't exactly say that he's exclusive for the Strike Force...only that it's the fastest way to get him.

The language certainly makes it seem like he will be available in another fashion later. They usually trumpet exclusivity pretty onerously, and there is no such point made here.

The other big plastic force they released with all the Stormtroopers and the Commissar doesn't contain an exclusive model either, so there's kind of some precedent there too.

Yeah, there would almost certainly be a big banner with Limited Edition plastered over the whole thing. I'm holding out some hope...

Surprisingly they did not put ANY pictures of the alternate head up.

Well then either it is a LOT better or a LOT worse. I'll hope for the former, because the rebreather head isn't particularly interesting.

Yeah, no pic of the sprue either, which is annoying - I like to be able to see what parts it comes in, so I can work out conversion ideas

Somewhere, a few days back, somebody posted that White Dwarf stated that the TDA Captain miniature would be limited to this deal only. Hopefully that person was full of crap, but we really don't see these types of comments ever being mistakes. Doesn't mean that GW can't change their mind though. Perhaps we'll see the limited return of the Interrogator-Chaplin Seraphicus miniature in the revamped Dark Vengeance boxed set (rumored to come out in August or so) too, but that isn't based on any sort of rumor so don't get your hopes up.

I have the White Dwarf, and all it says is that he is "available exclusively as part of Space Marines Strike Force Ultra"...which doesn't necessarily mean anything as the GW website says something to the effect of "this is the fastest way to get the new Terminator Captain".

Yes, we know that now. The website does seem to give the impression that the mini will be available later on in some way. Hopefully that is how things turn out.

I think GW are on to a good thing if he comes out on his own.
He weilds a relic blade, he can fit a helmet in, his gun arm is totally swappable and he's full of character. This guy will be a huge seller, in my opinion.

Well since all of the models are slowly but steadily turning to plastic, I think that even if he doesn't come out on his own, GW will make a plastic Terminator Captain sooner rather than later. Maybe not this one though

The wording does make us beleive that the terminator captain will be available seperatly at a later date, but if you look at the chapain box set with the command squad, the wording is quite similar.

That box been out for a long time, and i'm still waiting to get ithe chaplain seperatly. So don't hold your breath for the termi captain.

I do hope he come sout on his own. I do want him, however im sure it is only the case because he is so exclusive.

Great model too. I love everything about terminators, the BA from SH won me over, I've took an interest in every TDA kit they have made since.
