Hello all. I'm having quite the conundrum with my Bloodthirster. It is a GW Balrog model, and I can't seem to find a hand to fit its left arm. I wish I could sculpt one, but my skills are still far to undeveloped for that. Any Suggestions?

Does it not come with an open left hand?

Without knowing the scale it's hard to say, but If you can find someone with a Demon Prince model, they come with several hands/arms that they might not be using. That's the best shot I got, unfortunately.

I had a look at my 'rog thirster, have you considered attachin the whip that comes in the kit as the second hand? As in, actually replacing the hand with the whip?

I duno. I'm just trying to salvage your problem.

Yeah.. Moulding weapons onto the arm with gs is always easier than moulding an actual hand.

Cut the Arm off and replace it with a Defiler Claw Waaargh!

But yer it's easier not to replace the hand, and can work out cooler... I like the whip idea.

The only way to learn to do things like this is to jump in and give them a go. GS and simple sculpting tools are pretty cheap, so you can afford to mess up a few times.Just remember to build up a hand in a few different layers. Don't try to get the final product in one go.

I recommend paint or colour shapers (rubber tipped tools that don't stick to GS).

This was my first hand sculpt in 6 stages (palm first, then ading in finger details 1 at a time)
