If daemon hunters and inquisition team up, can each take their own Vindicare Assassin?

Unique Models
Some models are noted as being Unique in their Army List Entry. Unique models include named characters and extraordinary units or vehicles, of which there is only one known example in the whole galaxy. Because of this, you can
only ever include one of each Unique model in an army.
The Vindicare is labeled as Unique, yes?
Your army includes all detachments, yes?
If so, then you may only take one Vindicare in your army.

Plus, the Vindicare isn't in Codex Inquisition.

That and "Codex: Deamon Hunters" was defunct a long time ago.
Most veteran players will know you are likely referring to Codex: Grey Knights, but any newer players may not pick up on it as quickly.

Perfect. I didn't know that the Inquisition couldn't get assassins. Saves me the money of buying the electronic version.

My guess is that when GK gets a new book, Codex: Assassins will reappear, along with an Officio Assassinorum Detachment, and both they and Warbands will be excised from the GK book.
This would make me sad.

To note; there is still some question about CGK and inquisition Coteaz.
They both are unique, both have the same name, but have different rules.
Because they are not exactly the same the case can be made that they are 2 different Unique models even though we "know" they are the same characters.
|
This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.
Stop looking for buzz words and start reading the whole sentences.

I'd treat it like Capt Tycho. Theirs a normal version of him, and a death company version. Still the same dude.

The difference is the BA codex specifically prohibits bringing both versions of Tycho. If that rule was not in there you legally could.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
