I wonder is betrayer worth hat money? Is kindoms of amalur worth hat monies?

I bought payday the heist, and xcom the bureau. $7.50 in total. My budget is $25. In a year or two there's going to be way more games that I've wanted but never got. And I'll be aiming for those next. In the meantime, I also have the problem of having a truckload of games I haven't played yet. I played skyrim for only 6 hours so far, my guy is level 5. Haven't finished AC2 yet, bioshock infinite, borderlands 2, most of the games in the total wars series, and a ton of less popular games. One game I really want is Thief. I'm still holding out for a target of under $10. Also waiting for xcom enemy unknown to go under $5. I have all the time in the world, judging by my library. I have like 20 games over $30 on my wishlist. People bought them at release prices. In a few years, I'll be buying all of them for under $10

Kingdoms of Amalur is...solid. Average. Imagine Dragon Age 2 without a party. Very action-based and simple combat, low difficulty, but interesting and engaging story with tons, really, TONS of sidequests.

I've enjoyed Kingdoms of Amalur so far (I'm about half-way through the game, but it's been a while since I played last). I got both the DLC expansions, and the one on the floating island is the best one (though the island adventure was fun).

I actually like it more than Skyrim because the combat is more fun. It's not a spectacle fighter, but it has elements of that in the combat. Colourful graphical style, good story, tons of fun enemies and NPC's with hilarious voices, and just tons and tons of stuff to do.

That sounds promising. Is it suitable for keyboard + mouse and are the controls customisable?

Couldn't tell you sorry. My version is the PS3 version. Nevertheless, you can plug a 360 or PS3 controller into a PC and just use that.

Looking through the Amalur forum on steam it seems the keyboard controls can be changed even though it's implemented in a not entirely straight forward way judging from some of the complaints.

If the mouse works in the menues then it'll certainly be easier to manage your industry.

It's fully playable with Sword&Board, without any disadvantages, no gamepad necessary.

Really pissed off the game I've really been wanting (fallout NV ultimate edition) is really low (-66%) making it €6 (im embarrassed to say I don't even have that amount of money to spare) FML I'm poor as gak and can't get it, so much for getting a nice new summer game, guess I'll just play some BS F2P game to pass time :(

Things that return at the end usually return with their former price reduction. No guarantees, of course, but it has been that way iirc.

Well, I was going to get GOTY edition of Fallout 3...but the OS is XP/Vista.

Whelp. The "Rogue Legacy" is an absolute blast. Probably doesn't get any lower than this so I had to get it. It's my first true Rogue-like game and I'm loving it :3

I already lost so many god-damn heroes xD

Unfortunately the DLC hasn't budged. :( And you can't gift the main game out of the bundle if you already own the game. :(

Read the books and played a small bit of 2033 is the other good, got it on my wish list , maybe a kind internet stranger will take pity on me and I can play it

Yeah, I hit Metro for 3 bucks-ish, but that was accounted for by my card sales, so it was free. Tossing up whether to buy last light as well, or save that for the christmas sales

How do you make money off card sales? All mine seem to be worth 13 cents each. I keep seeing people here mention it, and then have a look at get terribly dissapointed. Maybe I need to by more games.

Well, I have so many games, and with 5 card drops a game or so, that's a lot of 13-20 cent sales. Which, come sale time on steam, leads to a couple of games in the 0-4 dollar category. Which then leads to more cards.

It's not 'making money', its just helping feed the addiction

Foil cards and TF2 hats get you more cash, its not exactly big money though, I think the most I have made out of a single sale is £1.50.

I ended up getting Rogue Legacy on sale as well, and its an absolute blast.

I have done pretty well with the cards. You don't make a lot of money, its just that money goes much furthur during the sale.

Ok, this explanation for the steam sales I have to share GOTTA COLLECT THEM ALL!
