Yeah, what the hell is up with the Pats this year?!

And I am quite surprised by KC....either NE is making them look really good....or.....KC really is this good....they'do seem a bit Jeckyl/Hyde-ish.

I destroy my enemies when I make them my friends.

Three!! Three successful trades! Ah ah ah!

Brady needs to retire, and people are figuring Bellechick out (or, he's not as good as people thought, since he keeps seeming to get caught in some kind of cheating scandal or another)

@mean the pats just aren't very good this year. Their lines don't have talent, bellichik the GM face fethed bellichik the coach by releasing tommy kelly and trading mankins. Brady is shook because he has gotten destroyed the first 4 games.

@ensis what a dick comment.

This has been an interesting season for the Packers - so far the only time I've been able to watch them is the last half of the Jets game and the last half of the Bears game; so I am starting to think I have the shining or something.

I'm going to be able to catch the entire Minnesota game, and I have a feeling it's going to be rough on them.

Lol, I am part trash talking (I really, REALLY dont like Brady... ever since the "tuck rule") but, judging from the comments by the announcers, if this Pats team will be successful AT ALL this season, it is going to be defensively. This isn't the high powered, "Greatest Show on Turf" style of offense that is going to put NBA type numbers on the score board. And judging by him throwing two picks, he's not really seeing the field or something as well as he has in the past. This could be the O-line, the receivers, or just the Defenses they've faced thus far this season being better than him, when they play him (I won't say that they ARE better than him... just that whole "any given sunday" type of thing)

I find the lack of Bengals discussion disturbing...

...considering their defense is lights out and are one of two undefeated teams so far.

I think the big thing for the bengals is they have looked good before only to come unravelled at some point. We'll see if they can keep it up then win their first playoff game in forever then we start talking about how they are the class of the AFC north now.

I will say their drafting has been like unbelievably good the past few years.

I think its one of those "all of the above" situations in which a dominant team is simply not able to stay on top due to its central figures leaving or aging. Thankfully Garoppolo shows some promise, though that promise was showed playing in the OVC.

Well it looks like whomever plays against my fantasy team will have their best week ever....seems to be the trend.

Thank god we aren't in the "tattoo" league...

Ohh man... how would we even enforce such a thing in the Dakka League??? Although, if we did... I'd be proud to wear a Kronk designed tattoo (as he's currently sitting in first)

Looking at my FFL matchups this coming week, and it looks like, as things stand right now, my matchup with the "Fumblers" will be very, very close.

It would have to not be about enforcement, but willingness. I'd be down for a tattoo league :p. With a few small stipulations.

Agreed. For instance, for me, and my financial situation, it'd have to be a pay to play FFL, and "winnings" go to the loser to pay for the tattoo (as in, however much money the total pot is, is how much the tattoo is to cost )

see the second half of the Bears was an absolute travesty (from a Bears fans' perspective)
We just melted but two penalties seriously killed us along with micah "Lets just block cameras" Hyde not giving a fair review for Bennets TD that wasn't given.
The two penalties was when Lacy was tackled for a loss by DJ Williams who got flagged for "Piling On" Complete BS call as was the holding call on Jon Bostic on a FG attempt which gave Rodgers 1st & Goal at the 3. Both those drives sustained by the BS penalties gave GB 11 extra points along with the non TD would have left it 27-24 in favour of GB so Chicago wouldn't have ran out the clock at the bottom of the fourth

NFL needs to cease and desist showing these so-called Thursday night "games".

35-0 and just going to get worse from there. I bet they 50 point them....

Automatically Appended Next Post:
At least Oregon vs Arizona could prove to be interesting.

Some surprises today!

Are we back to "Who Dat?" bag over the head this year?!? I mean...really? Losing to Tampa Bay?!

And color me surprised to see Buffalo top Detroit...did NOT think that was coming, especially with Orton!

I still cannot believe that Detroit vs buffalo game. But what are on about with New Orleans? You know they won right;p

Also ensis where all the crap talk about the pats now? HUH? HUH? I can't wait till the Seahawks take a single bad loss I'm gonna rag you the entire week about it. ;p

Edit:also to think if I had just saved my 1 o'clock games last week to think about how far ahead of you all I'd be in the pickem makes me sad ;(

Meh... I didn't watch the game really... I was bored after 7-0 score, so I watched other shows

Perhaps, as a favor to all Pats fans out there, I should continue those kinds of comments, because clearly he read mine, and that is what spurred him to victory this evening

Ohh, I would say that you have a good chance of that "bad loss" tomorrow night... but it's the Washington team, so who are we kidding?

Edit 2... holy fethballs... I need 50 points+ out of Marshawn Lynch, and the Seattle Defense tomorrow to maintain my unbeaten Dakka FFL record :(

Since its at Washington idk. It's doubtful they lose and I'd bet on the Hawks, but it's one of those games where you never know.

You can't look past any team *coughTampaBaycough*.

Seattle is notorious for not traveling well....plus...its completely cross country to DC. I don't care who says it doesn't make a difference...it most certainly does.

But...I am still optimistic that Seattle will prevail

Chance and MeanDM have valid points, so I guess you could say that if RG3 was starting this one it'd be a "sure bet", but with that back up dude in (Cousins??) who has been playing fairly well, could make it interesting.... Still doesn't change that I need 50+ points from 2 people, and for my opponent to have no more points out of his 2 Washington players to in my FFL matchup

Also since the game is at 8:30. It's not like Seattle is travelling east to play a 1oclock game. From my limited "research" they usually struggle in the early games not the later games. My guess is they'll probably be fine and pull off a pretty big win.

Prime time games this year have an average point spread of like 18... So if it follows that someone is winning big, and I'll take Seattle in that bet everytime against Washington.

Edit: yah I need like 40 pts from Alfred Morris to come back and win.
