Awww, I found out my city canceled the fireworks becuse of the drought. Afraid of fires

I'm gonna sit home and paint minis and cook something with bacon in it, prolly cheesy bacon meatloaf. I think it's gonna rain here so no grilling :(

Grilling and having a couple brews with the family in the afternoon, and then going to see my buddy's band open from some crazy Finnish black metal band.

I'm just waiting for D-USA to post here...

I was going to start a thread on the best BBQ sauce - not for basting, for eating directly, but this seems like the best place to ask.

So people getting ready for the day of BBQing what's the best home made BBQ sauce recipe?

This will be the first time in YEARS the military has let me have the 4th off.

I get a full 4 day weekend off. It's awesome. I'm giddy.

Got a bit of some of the cheap standard fireworks, bottle rockets, smoke bombs, etc... simple stuff for the kids to enjoy without me breaking the bank. Got some fancy sausages and nice steaks that we're gonna grill as well. Just going to have a nice day enjoying MURICA!!!

I'll be watching Kanye in London, purely by coincidence. Other than that, I'll be mostly not interested, same as every year, but that's to be expected I guess. It's merely an interesting footnote in British history.

Well, Guys. Im here to say I love you all. I just found out Im working Beer at the Water park Friday. Im not sure I will make it

Being in Washington gives me some ever so slight hope that I won't need to "hide" from the fireworks (Jihadin, Cpt_Jake and the guys who know, know why)... But beyond that, I'll be on the grill making Bison Burgers, with a few extended family members coming up.

Chillin n Grillin with the buds, then over drink and have a hell of a hangover on the 5th

Ohh... and it must be said, I hit an all time low in purchasing drink for this weekend.... I actually bought Budweiser with intentions of consuming it
