I'd agree with you in regard to men Derek but from what i've see/read smell and height seem to be more important indicators for women.

Another part of physical attractiveness is smell. A mans natural musk may be repellent to some and and strong draw to another. BTW, I cannot stress just how powerful natural smell attraction is. Smell is the sense most closely tied to memory. If a prospective partners natural odor repulses you then odds are that, in the long run, no amount of showering and axe body spray will fix this issue. That's because everyday you wake up together the first thing to greet you is their smell.

Note- This doesn't mean to give up immediately. If you really like the person, you can ask them to try a different diet to see if it improves things. For those of you that don't understand this, try living in a single bedroom flat with a partner who constantly eats asparagus.

Well, I guess I'm supposed to marry my manager at work then. She gave me a hug before leaving, despite the fact that I likely stunk to holy hell from sweat from painting a vehicle all day. She said I didn't smell at all. She's also a gorgeous Puerto Rican. And trust me...the men in my family stink when we sweat hard. The only people who could stand to hug my dad when he worked out were my mom and my current step mom.

Well.. we are trying to quantify preferences which are really nothing more than opinions. It's my understanding that waist/hip is the best single variable you can use but there are obviously other variables involved in finding someone physically attractive. It is also my understanding that height ratios matter for men and women. It's not just a one way street. I was only bringing this up to point out that there are other variables though that determine attraction beyond just skin tone. When I watched the original video I was disappointed by how loose they were with the implications of the findings..

For Example.. When I see white women tanning, I don't think "my god she wants to be another race.. this must be because of the liberal agenda". It's preposterous. I find someone with a darker skin tone having it lightened because of "racism" equally as moronic.
