On moon miranda.

Alcohol abuse is a symptom of a problem, not the cause of the problem. Social and economic pressures and expectations combine in very unfortunate ways in Russia. Banning booze isn't feasible in Russia, and even if it were, people would just turn to a different intoxicant.

IRON WITHIN, IRON WITHOUT.

The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Wow, you have blown my mind with this point. I really believed that if I tried hard enough I could wish guns out of the world! Not to mention turn bad people into pixie dust and rainbows!

Thats fine, leave out the relevant part.

It was all irrelevant as the point was never whether it was feasible to get rid of the guns, just the effects if they were all to magically disappear.

The part where you missed my point and took a hypothetical world constructed to illustrate how guns are not required in society and then replied as if I were somehow constructing some kind of detailed roadmap to disarmerment?

Don't get me wrong, you raise good points that should be addressed in any discussion about American gun control and I was perhaps harsh in replying - blame a bad day being passed on unfairly!
