Starting to work on the cultists (shaved one back), now I have to find an idea for the vials. The talos´ones are quite big.
I also started to work on this cultist.



I actually dismantled it entirely, recenter the torso, fix the left arm shoulder, lowered the right one to not look too zombie like, add a las gun (as PDH correctly pointed on the Inq28 forum) and reoriented the head.
A little gs to hide the cuts.
What do you think? should I had a shoulder pad?
Most of all, what you think of the back of the robe? should I had chains or hooks or details, sculpt some, leave it like that?

Maybe remove the skull on the robe? Looks kinda like an Iron Warriors skull. Apart from that I can't think of anything to add

I agree - fill in the skull w GS. Otherwise looking good

Regarding the vials - maybe try melta bombs? If you cut them down and used some GS to blend it in it might work. If that's too be then you could even go down to krak grenades (edit: or buy a whole bunch of the apothecary vials from the DW termi kit from a bits site)

So following STD´s suggestions on B&C, I added a few hooks and ... hand in the back
Tried also to sculpt a little bit of chainmail did not work as I planned (GS was too soft) to I´ll have to do that again or maybe hide it under impurity seals.

To fill the front skull, what about adding a Slaneesh symbol ?

Slaanesh symbol could work - I reckon GSing it'd look better though.

Regarding what's missing - any chance of a grey scale image? Might help you/us visualise.

Also - are the heads w stitched mouths from the DV cultists or from the crypt ghoul kit?

I have recommendations of making a thinner gun too.

I think the head is originally a trophy head from the Plague Bearers kit if I remember correctly. Just got rid of a ring on the top and a few pustules.

Ah cool. A thinner gun would probably look better but I wouldn't worry about it too much, cultists do tend to pick up whatever's lying around
