Pretty sure even the fluff explicitly states that total corruption is the only end possible for Chaos even if you started out with good intentions.

Well, here's a quote that's similar to that effect from FFG's Black Crusade RPG:

"The intoxicating lure of Chaos leads untold millions down the path of corruption, and the noblest of intentions offers little protection against its dark influence. A soldier’s bloodlust, a politician's ambition, a lover’s desire, and even a mother’s whispered prayer over her feverish child – they are all the playthings of the Dark Gods. Why resist? Wealth, power, and happiness await those who serve the Ruinous Powers, and the only price is your humanity."

Indeed. Nothing good ever comes from the worship of Chaos. The Ruinous Powers are demanding gods, and they expect total obedience from their followers (and have several interesting, and nasty, ways of ensuring it).

I'm not sure how you managed to address something in my post in what I had previously quoted... And which point are you referring to?
The point I'm trying to make is that what makes the forces of chaos so potent is that they do contain features that compliment our sense of morality. If Khorne was all about bleeding everyone until they dried up like a prune, he's only get hemophiliacs. Khorne's martial honour is something that warriors can relate to, especially the Space Marines, and to some of them, it makes them begin to accept the power of Khorne, even if unknowingly. The terror of chaos is not that it is evil, but that anything you hold dear can drag you into it. Hardly a denial of maliciousness or evil.

And it's unnecessary to end any statement in a debate with "you lose".

All the factions are bastards.

There are very good people within each faction, and there are monsters. Really the only faction that can't currently be considered to have actively evil elements would be the tyranids, assuming the hivemind only functions on eating.

That being said, great forms of kindness have been shown by all races. Except, probably, the slaaneshi. I mean, sure, some people are happy there, but they lack the semi-honor of khorne, the semi-respect of Tzeentch, and the deep love of nugle.

Regardless of whether the Tau or douche bags or not, liking them for being the nicest kinda defeats the setting of 40k. 40k is supposed to be as grim dark as possible. Though sometimes it becomes too ridiculous.

Orks --- They know they are animals

Tyranids --- They are insects

Necrons ---- So tragic you feel sorry for them.

Eldar --- Gave us Dark Eldar . Enough said.

Chaos and Dark Eldar --- They know and admit they are evil incarnate.

Tau ? What's the Greater Good for corpses ? Whats the Greater Good for an ugly , impoverished kid in a wheelchair whose here-and-now life is never going to get better ? A few people live slightly better lives for a brief time ; and then , ultimately , no one to even remember that.

One does not need malice to be jerky. Actions make a person a jerk, not malice or intent.

It depends on the view of morality for both parties.

Say, for example, you met a cat.

As per a meeting of humans, the first thing you do is look at the cat's eyes. From you perspective, you are making a friendly greeting.
The cat, however, disagrees. When cats look into eachother's eyes, it means that they are preparing to fight/kill eachother. And thus the cat believes that you have made a life-threatening situation for it.
The cat then responds by trying to claw your face off.
You get away from the cat, believing that you are the victim, and that the cat is a jerk.
The cat believes you are the jerk.

Were you being a jerk?

No, because cats are inherently evil. The cat is just using the eye look as a convenient excuse to act on it's malevolent nature.

Jokaero are probably a nod to Niven and Pournelle's novel A Mote in God's Eye, in which you have animals that have evolved to use machines.

EDIT: The Tau, in any of the fashions in which they have been presented, are positively angelic by 40K standards, in which the principal "good guy"
faction is heavily modeled after the Nazis. Forced sterilization and mind control are trivial in 40K.

Actually no.... the Imperium has a truly massive recycling system in place. wrecked tanks, pieces of debris, even people are recycled so... Orks are not the only ones.

But I think we have established that every single race are "bad" for their own reasons. Tau, Eldar, Orks, and so on are all unpleasant.

Still.... Kill them all.

Destroy to create. Wreak havoc upon the infrastructure and bring life anew. Break through all barriers to realize there were no barriers. Realize there were only treacherous games. Learn the entirety of the game. Find the game makers; find the dick traitors/dictators.
Explode unto thy betrayers - ruin all their materials, dethrone and desecrate their persona, crush and manipulate their force, squeeze and torture their ideals to redirect their goals so as to dominate their souls, extract and perfect their fear so as to mitigate their strength and amplify their weakness.
Cut out the sickness, then imprison the wardens. Sing the song blood red and true. Create their destruction.
All for the hunt to dominate.
