They are still ticking along with five heavy weapon gunners complete and the five loaders WIP. Once they are done (and their weapon tractors cleaned and assembled), the rest of the second platoon should be straight forward.

It is slow progress... but it is still progress

I had hoped to be a bit further along with these... but here are five finished gunners with five assembled missile launchers:



The loaders are on the table and are still WIP... but will be finished this week (at some point).

I've already got the remaining troops out for the first squad so things will hopefully move quite quickly

I've already moved on and finished the two squad leaders for the two infantry squads. The special weapon carriers were already finished... so I now have 12 troops to finish and the infantry for the second platoon will be done

Then I just need to buy 3 Warzone Vulkans and convert them into Sentinels and the platoon will be at the same standard as the first one.

I love this army.

Aye, it's not bad but for a land train it needs to be bigger .

I'd start with a baneblade and work from there... if I was going to do it.

My army is an Astra Millitarum force so there is no place for land trains I'm afraid .

I'd point out though the Ramshakle train is almost perfectly set up to be a leman Russ and a hydra, and just a few guns from being a Chimera too.

The thing is that I am making my own vehicles and they will all be hovercraft.

The back story to my Squats is that they are active on a marshy planet so hover vehicles are the best form of transport.

I have scoured the net looking for my ideal vehicle and it isn't out there so I will be scratchbuilding the vehicles and casting them

(I have ordered from Ramshackle before and am not a fan of the resin that is used Or the quality control... ).

One of the missile teams from an earlier post, now has a full infantry squad to join... this being the first infantry squad of the second platoon:

I have painted a single miniature in the last year so I expect to be pretty rusty

Fortunately, I have a few spare miniatures to use to test the paint scheme
