I have to ask...how do you do the mottled paint thing. Is it an airbrush that does that?

thanks guys! im gonna try doing some more scifi inspired translucent bases next - maybe bits of blown up robots/spaceships, growing barnacles and rusting away in the sea....well thats the rough idea anyway

I can also do glowing UV reactive clear resin as a nurgley option..

in the meantime im back on the cryx train

Wow. Very very amazing stuff. The infinity must be incredibly fiddly to paint. What paints do you use, and I assume it's airbrush?

Pants Takers look very cool, your current mottled style works great on the chitin / alien skin weirdness. Plus glowy bits ftw

Thanks Boss
tbh I was a biy iffy about the skintone, trying to get the right balance between alien and human. I might play around a bit more making it slightly lighter...i wanted it to feel kinda like the hybrid xenomorph in alien resurrection

The Stabby things and the worm are looking great. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the Genestealer cult stuff, your style lends itself well to those minis.

Thanks guys, I appreciate that the stealers are time consuming to do but enjoyable so i dont really notice the hours fly by

in other news, my boss at Miniature Scenery gave me the Elven Tower kit to paint up for the new website (the old pics we had were a bit dull)
