I wish I had the option to walk into mini market and get my stuff.. but as much as I harassed them this past month they probably would have banned me from entry

LOL!!!

Decided to work on my PanO. I didn't want to go the route of hey look they're blue so they should be blue. I did the beret blue on them as a nod towards the Blue heavy theme Of PanO (now they look like Scifi U.N. Lol). I still have some facial details to do but that'll get done soon.

Those look awesome. I wish I had the guts to go non-blue. I'd like to paint them them black, like the COG in Gears of War, but that would destroy the whole Red team Vs Blue team scenario. Red Vs Black just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I originally planned on going with a darker green and with a camp pattern. I started painting them and thats what it turned into

Just picked up Operation Icestorm from Wayland after originally cancelling my pre-order due to delays and happy to say I got the pre-order version with the CSU. Ordered on Saturday and delivered on Monday so very impressed with delivery speed.

Minis are absolutely fantastic. Go together really well, look amazing, and can't wait to paint them. If only I had people to play against...

Has anyone else ordered from Atomic Empire? I pre-ordered on 8/11 and the last word for them was it will probably ship early NOV!

Again...niiice! I like your color choices. My Shock Army is dingy septic tank dipped OD so my O:I Pano are stuck the same. I think I'll try giving my 'dirty' Nomads a clean look like you've captured here with your Fusiliers. Doubt I can hold a brush to your work, though.

No kidding! I am visually impaired and was so proud of my Kirpal Singh's face...until my wife asked me why I painted his eyes on his forehead.

Thank you very much Rusty Trombone! Eyes.. for me its eyes I hate to paint. I did a Malifaux crew for a commission. the new plastics are so damned tiny but the client was vert much firm about eyes needing to be painted.. talk about pain in the rear.. if I can't see a visibly molded eye on the mini they don't get painted lol

How'd you do the hacker holo-screen thingy?

My fiancée doesn't really paint, she tried but it just frustrated her too much. She does play pretty much anything & everything with me & kicks my ass quite often lol. Guess I taught her too well.

Historian -
The holo screen was a piece of blister plastic cut out. I then scratched the general shapes into it with a hobby knife & used thinned paint to go over them, I hit the whole thing with a super thin mix of gold & metallic blue to give it a shimmer. I tried to make the blue for the holo lighter on the edges and darker in the center.

The pink edging on the hackers was intended to tie them in with the fast pandas.

Man those look good! I really like the colors!! Pretty awesome hacker holo thingies too boot!! Definitely have me wondering how I'm going to do my nomads now

Finally - FINALLY - got a shipping notice for the O:I I ordered from the Warstore at the end of September. Not exactly sure what the hold up was (Neal said they were stuck waiting for CB to get in some new sets of dice, but not sure I totally buy that) but I'm very eager to crack that box open on Monday/Tuesday/whenever it shows up.

Still waiting for mine....

My FLGS ordered one for me in Late August/Early September. (pretty much as soon as the preorders opened)

And due to supplier issues and UPS fun I am still waiting on it.

It has become a game of the daily call:

"UPS check?"
"Nope! Not seen it yet!"
*small curse*
"Me too, this is killing me."

It's worth the wait.. Though there shouldn't be one.. Well not like one we've had to endure... Fortunately for a lot of us we've finally received ours!
