Quick update between mid terms. Haven't had much time to paint or build due to aforementioned mid terms but I finally got around to building my company command squad and I gotta say this was one of my worst cast FW models yet. Lots of pitting and what not, but nothing that couldnt be fixed with some time. Hopefully I will have these guys finished before armies on parade.

Mid terms. I remember that beat down. Good luck with those, in the meantime your Death Korps are rocking right along. I love that supreme commander model. He just looks like a boss.

Thanks man, I've been trying my best since I spent an arm and a leg on them . The company commander does have a certain air about him not wearing the trench coat and with the command pose.

Update time. Got the trench coats and the armor all done along with the banner.

Finished these guys up just in time for AOP, I don't believe I will win since I didn't have time to make a proper board but I am loving the way these guys are turning out

Thanks paradigm. I was afraid that it wouldn't come out too great with the brown belts holding the armor but it grew on me.


Also I entered my DKoK and knights into the armies on parade at my local gw. I didn't think I would place but I ended up getting second and barely lost to a beautiful nurgle space marine army

Now for the pictures, First place was a nurgle space marine army with some awesome heldrake and demon prince conversions. Third place was Night of the living guard, a zombie guard horde attacking a small bastion of inquisitors and stormtroopers

The fifth person packed up and left before pictures but the fourth army was done by a new person to the hobby and I think he did an awesome job for his first time

Also I have some better pictures of my entries so here they are. All in all I had a great time at armies on parade and it was awesome seeing a lot of interesting, and well painted armies.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Been super busy with midterms, but I stripped an old chimera and aegis I had and will be painting those soon.

Hey all. Well midterms are over and I finally have had some time to paint. So I have about half of my aegis defense line all painted up. Next the chimera and the remaining squads. I also have a battlezone ruined sector and two frontline gaming mats coming in fairly soon so I will finally be able to finish my table at home.

Good work work Ustrello- I like how the Aegis matches the camo on your tanks.

Thanks man, I was afraid it wouldnt come off as well since it doesn't have the flat surfaces that vehicles have. Also I never would've thought it but the aegis is such a pain to paint and I have no idea why.

I'll take your word for it- the Aegis has never been something I've thought of fielding.

For 50 points and getting a 4 up cover, I'd say give it a try sometime.

Thanks! I don't know why people don't, the model lends itself well to camo schemes.

if you give your vehicles camo netting its a 3 plus cover save then, if you wanna gun line that is. Plus 50 points for a twin linked skyfire quad gun and 35 for a skyfire las gun with like 90 inch range, dont hold me to that range but its fairly long distance.

Update time. Finally free of pre thanksgiving break papers and test and my frontline mats finally came in! Only unwrapped the urban combat one to see what it looked like in person. Now I am just waiting on the mantic battlezone terrain to get in and I will finally have the table almost done.

Well finally finished my aegis line. I will just include the last three sections as I have posted the rest in the past.

Looks good! It matches the tanks nicely!

Thank you very much! Was hoping it would turn out nicer than I expected in the end and it did.

Decided to take a small break from the krieg and make some objective markers for 40k. Nothing special just some ideas that I had floating around in my head for a bit.
