Hi all, I want to add some greenery to my urban environment & was hoping some folks stateside could give suggestions based on experience about good plastic plants for infinity. My local Wal-Mart & petco seem to only have the really outlandish crazy ones that might work for paradise but not for what I have in mind.
I'm on a budget so affordability for not huge quantities would be great.
Thanks much.

You could try aquarium plants, sold in pet shops and the like. I got bags of these things very cheaply from ebay, normally there will be enough in amongst them for some half-decent ones, and then put them in electrical junction boxes from a DIY store. I've deliberately gone for a more 'gene-hanced/alien' look for mine, but you can get some that are more like actual trees/plants.
Antenociti's workshop also sell some nice ones if you want some pre-built (and a bit less garish!)

Also check out the plastic plants at your local craft store-- Michaels, Jo-Anns, Hobby Lobby, whatever.
You may want to gussy them up a bit with an ink wash and a touch of drybrushing so they look less fake.
Click on the Infinity banner in my link and you'll see some stuff that I did with such plastic plants, if you need ideas.

That looks great. Very Mass Effect. I'm after a load of those for my Lizradmen themed scenery.
