I just received my copy just yesterday and I'm quite happy about everything with and the 3d sculpting also makes the parts line perfectly or at least haven't found one that didn't line up. I know that people that went to gencon gotten their copy early but this is manly focused on people that preordered their copy. Also possibly list anything that you like and dislike about this box.

Same here. Just hoping we still get the special edition, as I ordered mine the day pre orders went live. Postage from CB direct was a killer, so I went with Wayland

I second that, was even worse to the US. Hence why I ordered from Miniature Market.

Yeah won't lie the shipping cost was brutal and I'm not sure if all US paid the same amount but it was like $50. The main reason I preordered from them so I could be guaranteed the limited edition model. Sadly for the mean time it will sitting on my shelf till I can get my work station together and only time will tell for that.

I sent an email to Wayland after pre-ordering to confirm that I would be getting the special edition [anticipating supply problems!] and they replied confirming I would definitely receive the special edition. Not going to be a happy bunny if it isn't.

I hate you all.

Though I'm happy to hear that the pieces all fit nicely!

Got mine in the mail yesterday as well. I also ordered directly from CB. Gave a quick read through the scenarios last night, it will be interesting to see which changes are just for the purposes of the starter rules, and which changes make it into 3rd edition.

I've only got a couple of models out so far The only issue I've had is that I couldn't find a way to fit the Nisse's gun arm on the model. I ended up cutting the peg off, putting a blob of GS on the body and making my own peg where it seemed to fit comfortably.

Everything else has gone together fine, though I did drill out the Akal's backpack vane holes a liittle to try to give it a more secure bond.

Well that usually takes at least until my second post in a thread
On a more serious note, parts do indeed line up remarkably well - no bending, no GS (except for backpack/back piece on father-knight and that looks mostly sloppy, TBH...) - just stick on one arm and you know the other will fit even without a test-fit. Really quite an improvement - especially given CB's abysmal track record when it comes to parts fit, up until recently.
It all goes together like a dream - assembling the PanO half took no time at all, really. So, now just to find someone nearby to sell the Nomad stuff to

Oh dear. I got it to fit nicely by using the coat lapel like a tab, and the bend in the arm like a slot. Then I rotated the piece (or pivoted it) around the lapel and it fit perfectly. A bit obscure, but... anyway for anyone else who has the issue, It does fit if the pieces are properly molded. Play around a bit while dry-fitting and you'll see.

Sorry you had such a problem Riquende.

It's no big deal, this isn't my first rodeo, and I've spent a lot of time with metal models. 5 minute fix. It might have been miscast slightly, or it might have been a brief spell of heavy handedness that caused me to not be able to find the lineup point.

Got mine last Thursday.
Now I'm stuck with the flu leaving me with plenty of hobby time on my hands. So I expect to be done with the Nomads by the time I'm well again.. :p

I may be an donkey-cave, but at least I'm an equal oppurtunity donkey-cave...
