A CSM box redone in the style of the DV Chosen/2012 Raptors and to the quality of the 2013 Tactical Squad would make an instant heretic of me!

Elder Guardians look a bit rubbish compared to the likes of Dire Avengers, and the jetbikes need redoing.

I would s at Crisis suits, but it's the aesthetic as much as the model that puts me off those.

Sorry man I have to comment on that as it's the worst thing I can imagine that could happen to Tyranids. See I think new Hive Tyrant is the best nid design, better than regular xenomorph as the latter is in fact a dick on legs, I'd say that HT is on par with alien queen awesome wise. But thats personal taste, now what is practicaly objective claim is that 3rd edition HT was a cheap alien queen copy, a least orginal nid model ever and so borked and low quality that it couldn't even wipe that self aware "I'm such a scam" grin from its face. Anyway, the opposite of class and style imo.

Please look again.

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?

Id like to see the FW razorback turret become standard, so much neater.

Then get rid of the jungle fighters and bring back the Valhallans.

Finally sort the Tau wargear pieces out, make them clearer and nicer!

2. Thunderfire cannon- Give it a plastic Techmarine and some plastic servitors. If you add a servo-arm and conversion beamer, then it would cover the entire Techmarine range of options.

- Ork Warbuggies: As old as Eldar Jetbikes, but at least these look barely passable.

- Leman Russ Battle Tank: You think the Emperor's Paperweight looks good? Put it side by side with any Forgeworld IG vehicle. Cry.

- Chaos Space Marines: Yep, as others have said, the aging CSM infantry sticks out like a sore thumb when paired with more recent models like Helbrutes, 'Fiends and even Cultists.

Exergy wrote:+ Kharn the betrayer(why is his ax arm bare?)

Oddly enough, Kharn is one of my favorite GW sculpts ever. For a mid-90's miniature, he looks seriously badass with dat veiny bare arm screaming out loud "hey, I'm so roided up I barely fit in my armor - besides I have the Blood God's favor, so screw armor anyways". I concede, however, that the crotch skull is a little bit dumb.

The SM Dread, get rid of the angry washing machine and make the Contemptor the standard design!

HEY! I'll take my washing machine over your walking bathtub any day of the week!

Seriously though, yeah you're kind of right about the SM dreads. WHile I like the angular "blockiness" of them (they actually look like they could take a serious pounding), I hate the legs. The only way for that body to walk on those legs would be for it wo kind of waddle. Like a duck. Which makes me giggle like a little kid every time I move mine. So that needs fixed! lol

The other two I'd like would be the CSM box and the CSM Terminators. They are both older kits and I'd especially like for the terminators to get the loyalist treatment where I can buy one box for my "tactial" CSM terminators and another that has all the CC options. As it is I actually had to buy a loyalist terminator box and do some heavy conversion in order to get my Khorne marked twin lightning claw terminators.

Psiensis on the "good old days":
"Kids these days...

Wait, what were we talking about again? Did I ever tell you about the time I gave you five bees for a quarter? That's what you'd say in those days, "give me five bees for a quarter", is what you'd say in those days. And you'd go down to the D&D shop, with an onion in your belt, 'cause that was the style of the time. So there I was in the D&D shop..."

1. Chaos Space Marines. Just ditch the separate Berzerker box altogether and throw 10 Khorne heads into the regular CSM box to call it a day. As long as they come with both the BP/CCW and Bolters, it'll be fine.

2. Cadians. They are pretty hideous. Catachans are hideous too but we should have regular Guardsmen that don't look like ass.

3. Warp Spiders. Not sure how one of the most popular Eldar units failed to get an update in that release...

I can't really pick on any of the Special Characters because pretty much all of them need an update.

Tier 1 is the new Tactical.

I second this...especially Ragnar. Not a fan of the Wolves personally, but a character like that with a model like that my heart goes out to the SW players....

Oh, and Kharn needs a new model. Also in the same category of "Great character/Lousy model"....
