Today we bring you something really cool directly from Bostria himself! He delivered upon us these previews of the N3 books!
We have 4 files showing 8 pages of the books!

File 1
Orders and Order Pool
What is shown? Regular, Impetuous and Irregular orders, as well as the new Lieutenant Order and the Order Pool.

File 2
Characteristics
What is shown? Some more explanation on Impetuous Orders, but also Fury and a small bit of the Hackable characteristics.

File 3
Fiction on Ariadna

File 4
Fiction of the Combined Army

N3
As we all can see, the rule books are really cleaned up nicely! Big, colourful inserts that point out the important and easily forgotten parts of the rules. The layout is clean, with lots of pictures and diagrams to show what is told in the rules.

The fiction parts look amazing as well, with beautiful art, on par with the art from Paradiso. The fiction also contains short blurbs of text, shown between the text to show the fabled quotes that Infinity is known for!

Are you excited for N3? We sure are! We hope you all enjoy these little previews!

Gathering the Informations.

The artwork under the USAriadna section is new--but the fluff isn't...which is kinda disappointing.

Especially the bit in the USAriadna section regarding the ethnic make-ups of the scientific and security detachments.

One thing I can say is that the rules read MUCH cleaner now.

Man, that change to impetuous is huge. Impetuous (the lower level version) can choose not expend the impetuous order (they still don't gain cover, but still).

It is also nice the the impetuous movement rules seem to have been simplified and clarified with less wiggle room for interpretation. No more mention of being able to avoid dangerous stuff (not that suppression fire corridors are a thing anymore, but mines certainly are). They just need to bowl right through it now. This actually makes the forced movement a downside, whereas in 2nd it actually had the opportunity to avoid the exact kinds of tools meant to punish it.

So far less wiggle room and room for interpretation and misunderstanding. All movement on the impetuous order is directly toward the closest enemy miniature, regardless of hazards. Simplifying climbing and jumping to not being rolled will also help the other methods of travel be more common. All too often in my group, the need to climb or jump to reach the nearest target was ignored simply because of the clunkiness of these actions.

I'll be interested in seeing which troops are made Extremely Impetuous and which are made Impetuous. Kuang Shi are almost definitely going to be full impetuous, but I can see a lot of warbands (like the Daturazi) becoming just Impetuous and being a bit more controllable.

Either way, that's a cool change that allows them to have some more controllable impetuous troops (which is handy since impetuous movement no longer comes with the non-suicidal movement proviso).

He is friggin awesome. I guess I'll be running both Kazak and US sectorials when they come out.
I modified a Spec-ops with magnets to use as my BSG Spetz, but now this one will be coming out.

I wonder if they will get a BTS value with that full facemask oxy supply.

Blame digital sculpting and the unwillingness to rein in sculptors.

Or sit back and realize that they'll probably be updating most of the range for Kazaks.

Nice mini but not for me. Never mind, I'm not interested in the Ruskies anyway.

Also, I notice poor little Sybil has yet to be posted in this thread along with her name.

Here you have a little preview of the new Army. The mysterious silhouette belongs to Sybil, your new Army assistant!

Wow, exciting! I was waiting for more spetsnaz, I can hardly wait for them to finish off the sectorial. It will give me a reason to collect Ariadna

Looks like they have basically just 3D sculpted Rafael Nadal

The Spetsnaz looks awesome, love the recognisably modern style with the kit and gasmask.

I love the new Spetsnazs model, much more than the recent scout and sniper Spetsnazs. The only thing I don't like is the lower leg - from the boot to the kneepad, everything seems slightly too big, almost Morat-sized, both in terms of chukiness and length.

Edit: I'm finding the official paint scheme kind of interesting.. I'm surprised they didn't introduce a standard camo pattern or add in a splash of red to help differentiate the green and tan of Haq from the green and brown of Ariadna (FRRM non-withstanding)

Nice clarification about orders and skills.... can't mix short skill + short skill, just short skill + movement skill.
Long skills are now called Entire Order skills, which is a mouthful

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

OMG the Spetsnaz, I know this year has been supposed to be awesome when it comes to Infinity models, but no other model has gotten me so excited about it. DO WANT.

"Extreme Impetuous"?
Wich troops are "Extreme Impetuous"? sounds like a title for a Rob Liefield Comicbook.

Don't under estimate Mr. Liefield's abilities. Clearly it would be called X-Treme Impetuous: Return of Bloodknyfe.

I'm liking a more granular Impetuous definition.

"Extreme Impetuous" may apply to the more mindless units like Pupniks, Hungries, maybe even Morlocks and Kuang Shi.

It's interesting to note that this Base Rulebook references "Human Sphere" for information on Holoprojector. I guess this is somewhat confirmation that all the Human Sphere gear and skills won't be in the base rulebook and will be getting an online update.

Perhaps we'll be getting Human Sphere 'errata' PDFs soon to put them more in-line with N3. This being separate from the N3 public release of the rules online.

When does the ITS season begin with N3 anyways?

...nor for that matter, as manly as the Spetznochkas (spetznazochkas?). (If my understanding of Russian conventions for diminuitives is correct.) Gas Mask...nice! (if you recall that commercial.)

Apparently there is an event this week-end in Galicia and somebody will win as a raffle prize, a copy of N3. So, at least one person will have a copy by the 13th. So we can look forward to some info coming from Spain next week.

Not sure if serious in expecting a firm, concrete date. Naw, you have to be kidding I think it is March-or-April-ish.

It's always been the case that this is the main rulebook and wouldn't incorporate Human Sphere and Paradiso. I've not been pointing that out repeatedly for no reason. :(

I know. We all knew. However, people were still not certain whether some HS rules like weapons or even fireteam rules would be in N3. Hell, even Spitfires are HS weapons and those things are quite common everywhere; I was at least expecting some of this stuff, not the lore, to be updated into the main rulebook.
