Aren't they supposed to be the largest segment of the Ariadna population? Or at least the wealthiest & most powerful?
I always thought it was funny how their earliest line troops & HI elites were not formed into one of the first sectorials.

This keeps getting touted, but it's not strictly true.

They have the highest MANUFACTURING base of all four Ariadnan factions(USAriadna, Merovingia, Russians, and Caledonia)--but they could not really survive without the other three. Merovingia has been catching up to the Russians per the background(and that really started with Campaign: Paradiso, which technically was set "before" the rest of the game's timeline) because of trade connections to the Nomad Nation and Haqqislam.

What are we roughly expecting in the next few months? I'm really curious for when the Maghariba guard hits, since the current one is pretty fugly; I'm also curious to see what Pokemon the Tohaa get next

When the new designed was shown, CB said it is going to be a long time off. This is a company that doesn't like to rush if the don't have to, and are know for holding up a model for nearly a half year do to mold problem. So they had to recast the mold until they got it right and that was a mold design they are use to. They said the Maghariba is going to have to be a new design process do to the size and part to the model, so I would expect it for awhile. Funny thing about the Pokémon they are close to the first Tohaa race design.

Very true actually, they had a load of drawings showing the design process of the Tohaa in the art book.

These look really cool. I'm thinking that I should pick up a bunch of relevant templates anyway, and these would be fun to use. Would one deck be enough for two players, do we think? I'm forever having to ask people if they own the mission cards for 40k, and getting boggled reactions in return.

I guess there would be nothing to stop you sharing a pack with your opponent.

Depending on the card count though I assume that would stop you having exactly the same mission (which happens sometimes with the current dice-roll system)

The article on CB's website says the deck is 40 cards. I assume that's 20 for you and 20 for your opponent to replicate the tables in the book.

Its a reeimagining of the really iconic CSAR that existed in the previous edition, really stunning work.

There is nothing much on the official forum at the moment.

Some discussion of a new Campaign book, talk about the BoW Boot Camp (and an Infinity weekend), Carlos is apparently going to be on that so there is speculation you might have some kind of announcement there.

Also, rumours of a new starter set (with a couple of new sets of minis in) although considering how recently Operation Icestorm was released I'm not sure if there are any foundations to that rumour.

The O:I format seemed to work very well for them, and if they brought out a new box with terrain that tied in (i.e. slightly different designs, same visual theme) then I can imagine it also doing very well.

Financially it would probably be lucrative for them, I'd rather see they resculpt older models so they'd be in line with their current design plans.

The Infinity boot camp drew some attention on the official forum due to the fact that it has some "older" starter sets in there, which BoW claimed are going to be redone not long after the Boot Camp.

Definitely waiting for the Zanshii with baited breath (think a lot of people are!)

Although I kind of like the style of the Keisotsu! They're some pretty delicate sculpts, not sure what improvements they could make to them aesthetically (other than make them slightly bigger perhaps, I haven't seen them alongside the new Fusiliers or Alguaciles so can't compare). Current minis are rather easy to paint too, which is nice!
