The Naffatun are cool, the Intruder HMG is cool. The Umbra is... Weird. Hate the Aleph box, and that Croc Man is incredibly boring.

Naffatun look utterly fantastic.

Also, love that there's both male and female with light and heavy flamethrowers.

I really like the croc man but I think that's mostly down to the paintjob.

Not a fan of the new umbra, the starter box one is much better IMHO

Not really a fan of the Naffatun I have to say. The body design is nice enough, with cool looking equipment, but the high neck collars and static poses just don't have the kind of fluidity and great capture of movement that the older style ones have. Could always use the models to proxy for something else I might not like in the Haqq forces, but I think I'll stick with the older style of miniatures.

Fluidity isn't really something you want when running around setting things/people on fire.

Personally, I think the Naffatun and Croc Man win this month. I like the Intruder--but I can't really justify buying him for reasons we won't get into here.

Very true, they are definitely a different type of concept to the previous ones. I do think the new ones are fantastic (they really fit with some of the more recent releases for Haqq), although at least the original ones will probably be around for some time so we have a choice!

Don't think there is a bad release this month - I do prefer the original Umbra Legate, although this one definitely has a really different aspect. They definitely have a 'dark jedi' vibe about them, where each one feels like a character piece; this one is certainly more of a 'juggernaut' type style. Think he (she?!it?!) looks suitably bad-ass!

I like the Naffs but have the three old ones which I really like as well. Maybe I'll get this box and convert them to be Zhayedan or Govads.

#1 Croc Man
#2 Naffatuns
#3 Umbra
#4 Intruder
#5 Drakios & scylla

Overall, this month is fine but not better than the previous month with Tiger Soldier, Aquila Guard, Fraacta, Kaeltar and Galwegian.... that was one of the best INFINITY updates ever!

Drakios and Scylla should be ignored unless one is openly mocking it; much like the Razorgor.

Agreed haha. I can't think of the last model as bad as them that CB put out.

Why can't it be both?

Funny how opinions differ though, right?

I love everything for this month, and last month was mostly a pass for me.

Oh geez! I actually really like those new figures. The Naffatun look really impressive. I wasn't expecting them to look so bulky. They're reminding me of the flamethrower boss from Army of Two: 40th Day. Even the Crocman looks surprisingly good, though that could just be the addition of sleeves to his design.

Really though, I almost missed that update. Someone needs to update the thread title.

I think the moment Drakios and Scylla start getting memes made about them or a nickname then we can say they are as bad as the Pumbagore

I think the pose on Drakios is very awkward, to an extent Scylla as well, although I quite like her I think she's a really interesting sculpt.

But yes, nature of subjectivity and all that !

We don't all have to agree with each other and each other's rankings. The Intruder is the big winner here for me; some of the new sculpts keep reminding me that the first Infinity model I ever bought was a Nomad, although I have never bought any more from the faction. And I kinda like Drakios and don't hate Scylla (from the back the pose is not back at all--though I am a bit of an ALEPH apologist.)

But, can we all just take a moment and agree that what Angel and protege do in a month is amazing. I know quality painters that can;t do a single model to this standard in a month, and here are 6 (if the Devabots are reused) incredible paint jobs. And its month after month.

*slowclap*

One thing we're definitely not going to do in here is argue about opinions.

It's nice to have a hacker model (Umbra) that isn't in a 'standing still with one arm out' pose. Odd trousers though. I don't play CA but I do have a starter Umbra, so I might get this.

Crocman is technically excellent but a little static.

The others I don't care about.

“Good people are quick to help others in need, without hesitation or requiring proof the need is genuine. The wicked will believe they are fighting for good, but when others are in need they’ll be reluctant to help, withholding compassion until they see proof of that need. And yet Evil is quick to condemn, vilify and attack. For Evil, proof isn’t needed to bring harm, only hatred and a belief in the cause.”

I'm not totally sold on the PanO models with a rifle and a knife. It feels a bit 90's Citadel with flat posing and arms held out at right angles with a weapon in each. I'd rather have an open hand (even rage fist) or better yet actually holding the weapon in both hands. That said, the croc man is really nicely done.

The Naffatun are perfect, I really think they are the best release since the CAD switch
in the opposite I hate the croc, umbra and the ALEPH,
Fausto Gutierrez is a disaster for the Infinity range imo

Those naffatun will be fabulous in cerberus colors :p

Mango the guy they based the WorCor model on, knows the right way to handle PanO models.

Are the Croc Men part of Varuna? I suspect this new Croc Man's design will be indicative of how new Kamau will look.

Yes.

The only other Sectorials we know of for PanOceania are Varuna and Svalarheima, and they are pretty sure not dressed for winter.
Supposedly there is also the "Earth Bastion Army" but I'll believe that when I see it.
