We're talking about a company here that when people complained about the "ballerina poses" that many AD troops had responded by making sure damn near every single AD troop has a knife out.

While still in an AD pose.

If you look carefully, it's also positioned so it's attached to part of the grip that extends up the back of the sword. Pretty sure it's a second grip.

Practicality and good design take a back seat in infinity designs - like the new Ariadna guns with the magazines too far forward.

Just started my second faction already myself, though not a jump into USAriadna. Actually picked up Morats due to the lack of much alien players locally. So many PanO and Nomads...

The funny part is that in many places, that exact problem was an issue even before Icestorm!

Morats are a great pick Aduro, you'll enjoy smashing face with the Space Monkeys.

They're a horrible influence on me though. I'm already addicted to Smoking after only two games with the Morat starter plus Anyat from Dire Foes.

I... don't think we're looking at the same part? The extra grip isn't anywhere near her headscarf.

The Airborne Ranger ( ♪♪ I wanna be an Airborne Ranger. I wanna live the life of danger...♪♪ ) looks pretty good in that render. And a reminder that we ought to get a preview of something in less than 2 weeks. What will be first?
- Nisse HMG
- Domaru Butai
- Hunzakut LGL
- CA Drones
- Kosuil Assault Pioneers

I do hope the Nisse HMG will be as good as the Sniper. ( and sans rage-fist or TREQ)

I love the new Nisse sniper so I've got high hopes for the HMG one. I'm pretty excited for everything actually, the Hunzakut, Drones and Kosuil renders all looked awesome, can't wait to see the Domaru models, and the Nisse should be awesome too.

Probably the Seraph, as we've seen the render. I can't imagine it's far away.

By Carlos Llauger Lorenzo AKA Bostria

In this month of August one of the new Corvus Belli releases is the USAriadna Grunts unit box with all the special weapon options, the ones that cost SWC, the ones that make the difference.

Well... this comes in handy to stress a couple of basic concepts.

The first one is that the Grunts are the backbone of the USAriadna army, the Fireteam that will always be there, that last resort that will never let you down.

Picture it: you are on the third Turn, all your main troops have fallen, the infiltrators, the AD troops, the bikes... and suddenly you realize that the basic USAriadna troops have ARM 3, decent weapons and that they can compose a Fireteam. Those soldiers aren't there just to provide extra orders and scorch anyone coming to your Zone of Deployment, they can save the day, take you out of trouble, survive a lot of punishment and do the damn job!

But there is another important thing that you have to think about, to realise, to glimse from this Infinity new release: the USAriadna Ranger Force, the USARF, is going to receive new releases constantly to reinforce their ranks.
With the idea in mind of putting USAriadna on par with the rest of the young factions like Tohaa, during the next months CB's release schedule will bring USARF new releases frequently, and this is pretty tasty.

Imagine: You bought the great USAriadna Army Pack and you are sitting comfortably on your couch, your phone rings with a message from a player that shows that there is another miniature available, of superb quality, that is longing to share shelf with the rest of her little freedom fighter friends. On a frequent basis! Who can resist to that?

Expand your army. Lead your troops. Defend freedom in Dawn, Paradiso, MountZion-The Wall and wherever there is someone who thinks about winning ITS without getting rundown by the USARF!!!!

Best regards.

Horrible reduction in chances to see something new for PanO then. :(

I'm sure people are going to get the newsletter for RPG, for those that aren't subscribed, why not fill their survey. It's mostly for possible KS add-ons and goals. Yes, I'd be really interested in PanO T - shirt.

Yes.

For their blank box where they ask for suggestions, I inserted the 'Take all my money Pledge Level'.

Regarding that little post on the RPG character's word.
It's most likely an injection lug like someone mentioned.

These are WIP renders of the models. One of the shots posted of the SMG paratrooper has a lug just like it coming off his right arm at the elbow, but it is removed in the actual renders released to show the model off.

I'm betting when we see model renders in the Kickstarter, we won't see those lugs on any models.

As far as Grunts SWC? Release is supposed to be end August, so we can expext them maybe mid-late September if we're lucky.

My wallet needs a break anyway.

All the photos are from Infinity's album on Facebook.
Acmon still looks ridiculous, the Alguacile Hacker is still wildly unnecessary as a single blister, and apparently one of the Grunts is rocking aviators.

Ridiculously stylish you mean, right? I like him, I only think the bags are too much.
Isn't the single hacker blister justified by some sectorials/mercenaries that can take an alguacil hacker, but not a whole box of line infantry?

By ridiculous, I mean that left arm. There's something really off about it--and it's not the pauldron(which is the Chandra/Agema pauldron).

Isn't the single hacker blister justified by some sectorials/mercenaries that can take an alguacil hacker, but not a whole box of line infantry?

Honestly, it's not. They removed the two Alguacile Hacker blisters when the CJC starter came out and I had it stated pretty definitively to me that "if you want an Alguacile Hacker for FRRM(which is where it can be taken as just the Hacker profile--no joke), buy the CJC starter or split-box it". They also made it clear that they had no intention of placing a Hacker in the Special Weapons box because "you get one in the CJC starter".

Come Icestorm, the Alguacile Hacker model is as badly outscaled as the Wildcats are by her freakishly huge brethren--it was only a matter of time in my opinion before they realized how ridiculously out of whack these things look in promo shots as the Alguacile Hacker from the CJC starter hasn't shown up in any of the photos. It was only recently that a pair of models from that now defunct scale showed up and that was the Intruders in the shot with the HMG Intruder.

AND not only that, but they never actually had the Intruders in focus or even within a reasonable distance of the HMG Intruder!
