Hmm. For some reason, the Nisses doesn't impress me at all. I actually kind of like the old version more. He's not bad, just kind of boring.

The Brigadas I like. Painted up, the female ones don't look nearly as scrawny as I was expecting. They're still oddly and needlessly skinny though. The guys however, they look great. I love the HMG.

Doesn't look like the Drones give you all of the options. I hope they're just not photographing them, but I have a suspicion the other types won't be there.

The Tohaa looks good, but seems kind of beefy. Shouldn't most of the Tohaa be more on the weedy side?

WOW!

Love them all (Minus the Tohaa, which I still don't like or collect - bullet dodged!)

Otherwise, ouch, expensive month!

Again, thanks for posting this!

I don't know if I like the Nisse yet, the Drones, Kosuil and Hunzakut are awesome, and I like the male Brigadas.

Aw, the Domaru got bumped for MB instead.

Yeah, a lot of great releases this month. I could personally use almost all of these. The Brigada are very nice.I'd prefer if the females were in more active poses, but they're still not bad. The "MB" markings on their shoulders are kind of crude, though.

The mobile brigada set looks nice together although the open face plate on the missile launcher is a bit jarring. I'm getting a Bubblegum Crisis vibe from that model as well which isn't necessarily bad.

Annoyingly, if they're anything like the new Aquila Guard and the PanO symbol on his gun arm?

They're sculpted into the model.

I wonder how the new Combined Army drones look painted in green to match the other four drones I already have.

The only real question is "One box or two?"

Love all the Brigada (so close to breaking down and doing Nomads now) and love the Tohaa guy.

I prefer the previous Nisse, though, and the drones do nothing for me.

Will be getting a Hunzakuts to use as my 2nd Chasseur, for sure.

Those drones are great.

And I think that's the first Tohaa model I don't like. Shoulders/Head look too big or something.

I really like the MB also.

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

Fething gorgeous (said in your best Ray Winstone voice)

My favourite for this month is probably the Hanzakut, closely followed by the Brigadas.

Drones certainly manage to look very 'alien' while also still recognisably being drones within the context of the game, which I think was a hard thing to balance.

Like them all.
The Nisse is either a sort of cool start of action pose, or he just saw a spider.

...Whelp. I'm sure glad I have my six bug-drones already. Nisse on the other hand is a huge improvement, will be getting that one as soon as it's out.

The Nisse looks cool from some angles but off from others.

The Nisse suffers from, IMO, the same thing as the Wildcat with Spitfire does:

They look like they are meant to be in a diorama not a normal gaming piece.

It's not hard to envision the Wildcat with Spitfire banging his left arm on the hatch of a dropship extracting a high-value target or the last batch of Corregidor workers from a hostile environment.

In a similar vein, it's not hard to envision both of the Nisse on a mountainside engaging in what effectively amounts to vertical combat and the Nisse with HMG recoiling from gunfire that is coming at him from down below.

That's just my opinion though.

It's either trying to defy a strong icy wind or got scared of a spider.

Naw, just 'discovered' that a camo marker was a ninja. Things look different through MSV2.

I like the Nisse just fine. The Hunzakut easily wins the month, and it is not even close. (yes, faction bias here) Those Drones are nice enough, but they suffer from comparison with the old drones, IMHO. I liked the tentacles on the drones. 'Twas a shout out to the darker aspects of Anime. These new ones are, well, functional.

Am I the only one a bit annoyed by that exposed foamcore edge in this photo?
Spoiler:

Sloppy, sloppy. The MB's look like one would expect, although the females are a bit runty. There is nothing there to make me want to add them to my QK though. They are not linkable, and the only profile that makes sense points wise over the janissary is the Multi-Rifle+LFT MB.

That Kosuil is a bit beefy for a vegetable. It's been taking the Miracle-Groâ„¢, eh?

So the Nisse and the Hunzakut join the will get list.

And next month?

While I like the drone, they should look more organic like the other EI constructs. Still likely pick them up when i get the MB box, in coming MB update for the box .

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Love the Kosul. Makes me glad I didn't sell my Tohaa.

Now I just need to get my ass into gear and paint some of them.

I am wondering what the Kosuils 'thing' is going to be. Tough badass in Symbiont Armour was taken by the Sakiel at launch. Chain of Command would be interesting on them.

I'm disappointed in the change of direction for the remotes. They just look like the human remotes now.

So I'm not the only one who wants to buy two boxes, sell the blokes to some other guy, and build some Knight Sabers?

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

I remember the not too distant past when most Infinity releases didn't elicit the hard-to-fight-down purchase-it-now! response.

I would say the award for 'drunken post of the day' goes to this one, that must have been an impressive night out to last until that time!

I can't say I like the look of the new drones for the combined army. They look like third rate versions of drones the human factions build. I much prefer the older, organic designs and I'm curious to know why CB have decided to move away from them in their redesign.
My plan WAS to collect CA and now it's wait and see.
