I got excited seeing Gambit getting a movie until I saw the release year listed as "unknown" prompting the excitement to return back to the closet. In the meanwhile between now and unknown I'll enjoy his sweet cameo as Wolverine's flying chauffeur in X-men Origins: Wolverine.

Gambit needs to be in a "Bourne Identity" type style movie. I love him as a character, but not sure how it translate to the screen.
I'm stoked that they're even "talking" about Sandman!

Lego Batman looks interesting. Other than X Men Apocalypse thats a pretty heavy "meh" from me.
Does Hollywood make anything now besides really bad possession movies and superhero films?

How confirmed is all this? Because Marvel going to 3 movies a year and two Spidey spin-offs in a year seems odd to be.

Hulk and The Punisher are the only comic book characters I care about, and I just want films with them that aren't terrible.
Though I gotta admit I look forward to the Deadpool one.

What is it about that ONE movie that was so capable of introducing some of the most badass comic characters ever, and STILL be so. fething. bad?? I mean, seriously... It should be difficult to feth up Deadpool, but they did... It should be easy to get Gambit onto the screen in a proper role, but apparently it isn't.
Also.... 2017, "New Spidey" gets Venom AND Carnage!? probably my two most favorite SM villains getting screen time

Gambit was awesome in that, just underused. Deadpool was messed up, but if you omit the three times where he's referred to by name the film is fine and very good.
I just wish they'd do an X-movie without Wolverine, Hugh Jackman has done a great job with the role but it's time to give someone else the spotlight.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Venom done as an anti-hero, merciless but ostensibly on the right side, and have Carnage as the real villain who just wants to kill kill kill.
I guess the 'female led Spiderman spinoff' will be Black Cat, probably the Felecia introduced in Spidey-2 as I can't see why else they used the name. Could be good.

Almost all of it is taken from official studio releases AFAIK, which isn't to say it won't change. The Amazing Spider-Man had them making lots of plans for films and spin-offs but then ASM 2 underperformed at the box office so a lot of it is now up in the air.

Given the imminence of Wonder Woman and a presumably-Black-Cat film, I'd be willing to bet one of the Unknown Marvel movies will have a female lead. They could play it safe and go with the established Black Widow, but I'd expect a new character, either She-Hulk to perhaps find a way to get The Hulk into something else if they won't give him a sequel (it could also tie up the Leader from H1 if they wanted) or Ms Marvel/Warbird/Whatever-she's-calling-herself-these-days.
Personally, I can't stand She-Hulk, so even if it meant we get no more non-Avengers Ruffalo-Hulk, I'd rather see Ms Marvel.

I think that, given past performance of stand alone "Green Monster" films, you may be onto something with them probably going with the "safer" Ms. Marvel character in her own movie. Although, if I had to hazard a guess, I'd probably say they'll play it a little safer than the print house, and go with the "original" Ms. Marvel, and not the current one, just to avoid any potential backlash of having a Muslim "hero" as the main character.

Yeah, I was thinking the Carol Danvers/Warbird version rather than anything else. Isn't she now using the name Captain Marvel though?

True, and it was one of the best lines in what is (pending finally seeing DofP) the best film in the franchise. But the first 3 centred on him to the point of relegating Cyclops to a fairly flat secondary character, and he's had 2 solo movies and is the centre of DofP as well. I had hoped they would kill him off in that as per the comic version, but apparently not.
Lke I say, he's a great character and well-performed, but I think at this point I'd rather see someone else take centre stage. First Class worked without him, so it can be done.

Given their massive and overwhelming success I'm pretty sure they already have a clue. And it would be great if She-Hulk appeared appear as a courtroom adversary of Matt Murdock in the Daredevil series.

While I know it's not going to happen, I would die from schadenfreudic ecstasy if they pulled a bait and switch and the movie was actually one featuring the original Sandman.
That or I'd drown trying to collect a cup from the torrent of fan tears.
