Awesome idea! I found them on the website via the item number on the package:

Oh man they really satisfy me for some reason. I think there were toys this shape or something when I was just a lad. Looking at them I feel like I know how they feel, strange sensation.

I'm from the future. The future of space

I've got some clear adhesive things en route off of ebay. Thanks for the recommendation.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

On second look, the reviews for theses are pretty bad.

Found 100 on eBay for $4 though!

Hmm I don't know why they would get bad reviews.. I guess they don't work so well for the intended applications lol. To be fair though, I don't have a lot of games under my belt yet so they haven't been put through longterm testing.

I made a ton of these months ago & have had but one problem with them: on relatively slick surfaces they can get hard to pick up & you can wind up chasing them around. Kinda like a playing card on linoleum.

I just pictured you batting at it like a cat.

Ahahaha!

On a more serious note. Has anyone tried putting one dome on either side of the counter for a super satisfying, paw friendly, pill shaped experience?

Oh, now you're a sharp one, Casey's Law!

I'm definitely doing that (since I splurged and got 200!)

Did mine tonight. It makes the tokens a ton better.

That's what I was planning to do, but I think I prefer one sided. It was slightly more hamburgeroid than the smooth pill form I was hoping for, and it seemed a bit wasteful when the backs are just white. I think if I was going to do that I'd get some double sided prints and have reversible Regular/irregular and Wound/Unconscious tokens. But I don't have a circle cutter so meh!

Sounds like a job for the one inch punch that I hear everyone raving about.

I have a 1" round & 1" hex punch & they're great. Over fall break I'm going to use the hex punch to make a surface for my infinity urban table.

Those clear disks look quite nice. I wonder how they would work with my order markers. I made them by gluing the paper to 3/8"washers then spray sealing them with polyurethane.

The 3/8 refers to the size of the hole. The washer is actually 1" diameter. They have a nice heft to them. Like coins or real pokerchips. They are also easy to pick up.

Print on matte photo paper if you are going to use photo paper.

Great tip!

They also fit perfectly on the Mantic round bases. I had about a bazillion of those lying around but even if you don't they are very cheap to buy separately. They are tapered underneath and so you can get your fingers underneath them easily on flat surfaces (this is why the standard 25mm GW plastic bases are no good I have found).

Warsenal Templates. They rock. I'd wait for the new ones to come out, because they're going to be doing silhouette templates also. (in reply to using the 40k templates in place of the O:I set.)

You could apply some thin felt to the bottom of your bases to give them more purchase on tabletops also. I experimented with a couple of my counters by doing this. It makes them much easier to pick up, and keeps them from sliding all over if the terrain has any kind of texture at all.

I glued my tokens tokens together with a glue stick so they were double sided (regular one side, irregular other side). Then I used the epoxy stickers on each side. There are no issues sliding around, easy to pick up with fingers now that they have a slight curved edge to both sides of the token.

Reviews said this particular brand gets yellow/cloudy over time, to the point that you can't see through them.
In your experience is that true?

Huh great find guys I'm torn between ordering 300 something of them for 10-15 bucks, and waiting, or going up to hobby lobby to nab a couple of packs for a few bucks and having them now

The mantic bases thing is good too, I have so damn many of those since I base with clear acrylics =/ Only thing about those is they don't protect the surface of the token like these bubble whatsits.
