Did Lords of Wargaming ever clarify if they meant this year? They only said those would appear before something else IIRC.

The Raven Guard vs Tau box?

It's a great year (so far ) don't get me wrong but if you think there won't be at least 2-3 SM releases then your going to have a bad time.

my gut feeling is this 'dex'll be it for the admech for now but GW's thinking of a potential "second wave" if this 'dex pans out for them.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Apparently it's to show that GW is covering their tracks with redirects to generic error pages.

Actually it's how the links change (capitalizing it if it's in lowercase, or changing the words).

True. But as far as I understand the SM codex will be rebooted this year. Sorry I'm just bitter over SOB.

Completely agree - its all very dull..........

Although if they roll more Chapters into the main book - could get alot of annoyed people..........

Yeah, I went through a bunch of redirect things and codex-skitarii-eng becomes Codex-Skitarii-ENG, but no combination of Adeptus Mechanicus will work so far.

I'm thinking it's further out than people might assume.

Codex: Skitarii might be worth getting depending on how much is in it. I have some buyers remorse over Militarum Tempestus because there's literally 5 units in there, one of which I have no desire to ever use. If Skitarii is more comprehensive, then it'll be worth getting.

There's at least 4 now, possibly 4 more... I think the dex is worth it.

looks like assuming the weeks release rumors are accurate we've got 6 units, and assuming that the followign week we get a dual kit crawler and a clampack HQ we'll have 8 units and an HQ. small but workably so

Yeah... I think I'll wait until people have hands-on or a scan before I impulse buy. Rangers look good, walkers look good (though expensive), but I don't want another army book that I only get for 2 units. I'm kinda ok with that for Knights (seeing as they're pretty unique and there's a lot of cool fluff/artwork in there), but I don't want that to be a norm.

It would actually be pretty awesome for most Space Marine chapters involved if Space Marines got their toys and they got the Space Marine toys. Being able to take Librarian Dreadnoughts in a Dark Angels army? Really cool. Being able to take a Nephilim in a Space Wolves army? Sweet.

As is, since GW is on the path of making every potential faction its own Codex and simply throwing allies and formations around, there's really no way they'd roll any more into the vanilla codex. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they made Black Templar their own supplement again.

I broke down on Friday, and ordered the Vanguard/Ranger web bundle.

I have been checking fb all weekend long hoping for new leaked pictures to start popping up. Hopefully later this evening we will see next weeks new releases.

Done the same thing, hoping to pick up one of each new release as they come out. Its my first foray back into 40k for a few years so I think I can afford to take it slow and enjoy painting each unit. I'm even considering the painting guide if they reviews are favorable.

I really want to see some more shots of the spider tank, it looks like quite a cool kit.

I don't spend much on GW anymore. In fact I recently purged a ton of plastic from my horde. Every time I think I'm done, GW lures me back in.

It just should have been extended to provide the same basic idea for each Codex to reflect the different Craftworlds, Orders, Klans, Septs, Dynasties, Kabals, Wych Cults, Hive Fleets etc but no :(
