Seems odd that they can come in squads of 12. That's a 660 point unit.

Mistranslated, sry - Models can fire two weapons and always count as stationary for firing Heavy and Salvo weapons, or so I gather. It's like Slow and Purposeful without the Slow.

So I just Google Translated, it looks like that rule says something to the effect of: This unit cannot run, but can fire two weapons in the shooting phase and counts as having remained stationary for the purposes of Heavy and Salvo weaponry. They can also charge the turn they fired Heavy or Salvo guns.
Which doesn't make sense because they only have one gun each? Maybe it says fire each gun twice? Germans please help.

The BS3 is going to hurt unless they get similar rules to the skittari for bonus BS. But 190pts for 3 grav cannons in a pod is pretty dang sweet.

The Destroyers do, but the Breachers only have their heavy weapon + CCW (A Claw of some sort). I suppose it was probably just written to be general for both of them.
So yeah. Destroyers can fire both of their guns and Breachers can fire Heavy/Salvo weapons and Charge. Not bad, all things considered.
As a Necron Player, I can't help but compare the Kataphron Destroyers to Necron Destroyers/Heavy Destroyers. Similar pricing (Kataphrons are more expensive than both Destroyer versions), more shooting, but no Jet Pack for JSJ and ignoring terrain. It's an interesting tradeoff.

I can't see them getting Doctrina Imperatives, but I can see the Tech-Priest Dominus getting something not unlike the Tau's "Drone Controller" where the Servitors will use a Tech-Priest's BS.

Well, at least with Vanguards you can hide your special weapons behind a wall of flesh and augmetics if something nasty comes your way. But, oh, dat toughness. Being a heavy user of deffkoptas, I've learn how tough those 2W T5 beasties can be even if they don't jink (which the kataphrons seem unable of).

Both:
Heavy Battle Servitors: Models with this rule cannot run, but can fire two weapons in each shooting phase. In addition they count as having remained stationary while shooting Heavy and Salvo weaponry, even if they moved during the movement phase. They can also charge after they fired Rapid fire, Heavy or Salvo weapons.
- Up to 9 more models
- Very bulky and Praise the Omnissiah (correct english term?)
Breachers:
Each model may replace their XYZ with ...
Each model may replace their ABC with ...
Destroyers:
- same, but different weapons are meant -

I'm actually a little iffy about them. Expensive models often are problematic when it comes to actually being on the tabletop. T5 W2 is great, but only a moderate save on them is problematic. They die to focus fire just as easily as anything else, especially the Destroyers with only a 4+.
To me, anything around 50 points that isn't a MC or with a hefty Invuln save falls into Terminator territory. And while Kataphrons have more going for them than Terminators, they're similar in theory. Unlike Skitarii, which are cheap an numerous, they're expensive and low model count with lots of wounds/high Toughness - which always sounds great in theory, but often doesn't work out so well in practice.
Again, comparing them to Necron Destroyers, it's a bit iffy. Necron Destroyers have JSJ to remain safe, and Reanimation to help shrug off lots of shooting, even those of the AP3 variety. Kataphrons are going to try and blast out as much shooting as possible before dying, because there's not much they can do if someone really wants them dead.

The better comparison is with centurions, not terminators. They basically are cheaper troop versions of cents, giving up 2+ armor and BS/WS4 for a price reduction. And they will likely be used the same way due to short ranged weaponry - stuffed into a pod or gated around with draigo.

Yes, well, except for the fact that there were fluff descriptions of tracked combat servitors with heavy weapons prior to the whole "Dragon on Mars" debacle. Nobody is ever doing to persuade me that fluff is good.
As for the models: SOLD. The more heavily armoured variants are stunning, the extra bulk and less OTT heads do a lot to improve their visual profile, I suspect I'll be using those bitz for both types if I choose to get both. For those worried about their utility in a competitive context; remember that unlike Kastelans they're not MCs, which means they can take advantage of IC-joining shenanigans.
