Nasrallah is the Secretary General of Hezbollah...basically the big cheese of a Shiite terrorist organization. ISIS are Sunnis. This is a classic case of "those OTHER Muslim terrorists are not real Muslims!"

I wouldn't flock to Nasrallah as a supporter of Western ideals. There are plenty of videos out there of Hezbollah terrorists torturing and killing Sunni civilians in Iraq.



That said, Hezbollah is probably one of the most professional military organizations in the Middle East in terms of skill and overall professional conduct (which isn't saying much considering the 2nd and 3rd place Arab Muslim contenders are cutting heads off and hip shooting their AKs). In infantry engagements we traded pretty much 1 for 1 with them. If I had to slug it out with bad guys, I'd rather slug it out with these ISIS losers any day of the week...bunch of little punks. If I had to get captured though, much better to get captured by Hezbollah. Chances are they'd just shoot you or try to trade you rather than cutting your head off. Just sayin'.

I have always thought of Shi'ites as the 'nicer' one of the two main branches of Islam. Have Shi'ites ever attacked the West?

Recent bus bombing of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria is almost certainly the work of the organization this man heads(Hezbollah). Quite a few other attacks and foiled attempts as well.

This is just one such incident in which Iran-backed Shiite terrorists in Lebanon (i.e., probably Hezbollah) killed almost 300 US Marines and French servicemen.

Funny Hamas would say that, considering they only recently (2012) wrapped up a particularly bloody civil war with the more moderate Fatah.

Is there a transcript of the speech? It should be interesting.

FYI, Hamas' Facebook page Al Risaalah published this before their condemnation of the attacks in English:



...praising the attacks. Muslims exercise something called Taqiyya which is permitted lying about your beliefs to further the cause of Islam. These public denunciations of the attacks were intended for the West. What they're telling their Muslim brothers is something entirely different.
