Thanks everyone, The plan is to do a set of ten Boys between other units. That way I can space out the drudgery.

Sounds like a plan, thats what I do when I'm painting an army.

Love the little white Grots, they look fantastic.

Thanks FPS & Gir. The grots were fun to paint. So small but great poses.

Sadly when you look at the list it seems somewhat daunting but I've beeen getting some games in with them as they are currently mostly assembled. I'm feeling good about the amount so far so I'll keep at it. I still have 1/2 finished Eldar, Necron and some Lamenter projects to distract me when I've run out of light grey paint.

I already have enough marines and Necrons painted to play against the SW rush if need be.

I'm setting a deadline for July 26 for all the major Ork stuff. I'll need to take a wee break so I can work on some practical Ork terrain for Ice. This should take a weekend only!

Mostly, on my phone.

This is all looking fantastic. It's eerie - and disturbing, creepy orks are a real rarity. Kudos.

Finished the first squad of 20 slugga boys last night. I have another Slugga boy squad of 20 to do. My evil plan is to do a troop choice in between other more interesting units to keep me from draining my momentum. Next 6 Kopters.

Updated list on page one

First things first... pics or it didn't happen.

Now that that's out of the way... looks like you've got a good selection of stuff there to work on. Lots of variation. Should keep you occupied and entertained for a good while!

I wouldn't be able to get my head around all that work, I generally don't look an further than a unit at a time, and even that is a little too much!

Nothing better than a block of Orks, I really like the contrast between the white/brown/reds.

Love the way those are turning out SL. Going to be just a fantastic looking army on the table. What are your thoughts about the basing?

If I could only take decent pics. I'm unsure what to do with the basing, so I'll wait till I get an epiphany.

I'm slowly replacing all the 25mm bases on the old NOB figures with the 40mm ones in the new box. I'll probably need a few more to finish replacing the other 10 Nobs. 2 more of this squad will have big Choppers, an additional Power Claw, 1 combi-flamer the rest - combi-missiles ( x4). The Other ten will all have basic choppers and pistols except for the Nob boss who will have a PC. About 60% complete.

After the first 10 Nobs I'll be finishing the 'Big Guns' followed by the MegaNobs. First page list updated!

I think the GW website still says 25mm but the Orks I got recently ( I believe in the Stormclaw release ) had them all on 40mm iirc. Plus I think they look better on a bigger base so I went there.

Whatever you do on the base, you need to take it somewhere that is NOT brown... you need bases that contrast with the figures (like I'm trying to do with adding so much green to my skitarii bases.

Full load out Nobs complete. I also magnetized a big pet squig to the base of my Warboss. This way if I add the wargear I can represent it on the figure. This and hopefully pics of the big guns on Monday!
