Started breaking into the new stuff, Dungeon, Gunslinger Stratos both look entertaining. Plastic Memories looks good, but I think it's gonna try and rip my soul out.

I wouldn't know; I gave up after the Star of Sorrow arc. I just had no interest.
Its such a pity; conceptually it could have been fun, like Warhammer 40k cross bred with Hellsing.

Yeah Trinity blood almost felt like it wanted a second season but wasn't picked up.

I watched the first episode of Seraph of the End and I think it's gonna be great too! However my roommate who read the manga did say it slumps a bit towards the end, but he has a bias against Vampire themed media :p

Also episode 1 of Gundam Origins came out a while back and I finally saw it. Super amazing! Man the nostalgia reached insane levels, and the artwork is great

I am kinda getting into attack on titan, it is gross enough vague maybe evil enough plotting enough to just be on my peek interest lists. All it needs is some boobs lol

Just gave it a go myself. Damn, might keep up with this one as it goes. It feels like not many shows come swinging quite that hard out of the gate. Excited for more really.

Denpa Kyoushi (Ultimate Otaku Teacher) showed up on Funimation recently, so I decided to give it a go. Even though it's visual budget is kind of on the low side, I really like it so far. Although as an educator myself I might be a bit biased.

It is kind of interesting to see the underside of high school in an anime, though, in a non-comedic way, that is.

Checked out soooo many of the new shows this weekend. I think the only one that won't stick is Re-Kan. I want to stop watching Plastic Memories, but I'm a sucker for the feels train.

I can't believe they kicked us in the nuts so hard in episode 1.

Yeah- the important thing to realize in Bleach is that the first... 3? major arcs are good, then they just start repeating the same thing over and over again.

Bleach should have been one of those short-run series, where they later make a ton of spin-offs and stuff- It's full of darkhorse and interesting side-characters, and there's only so many times you can watch the same guy get a 'bigger, better powerup' before it gets silly.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO, Plastic Memories... allow me to give you an accurate summary of my reaction:



When I checked the synopsis, I was intrigued and I was already dreading the feels. As someone who wants to see humans and androids interacting in reality, this show looks amazing.

Not only that, I swear this is "Blade Runner - THE MOE VERSION!". And God-Emperor above knows how much just REMEMBERING THE speech affects me. Just remembering it and I need a fething tissue.

I must thank the creators for the humor, though. Without it, the anime would have been far too sad.

Holy feth. It IS Moe Blade Runner.

When it comes to androids and humans interacting, I ca only be fully comfortable if I have the upper hand in some way or another I don't want them spacking out of me.

Yeah, I only noticed the link now... yes, the english voice is deep and powerful, but the japanese one... it's like Soladrin says, really.

The Japanese voice, if nothing more than Kaplan sounds like the Don LaFontaine. I kept waiting for him to go "In a world..."

Well that rounds out the single most sudden, jarring, out-of-nowhere shift in a show or.. anything piece of media I've ever seen. I mean seriously you've got kind of semi-realistic take on a guy trying to be a costumed hero. It's taking some liberties with reality and making the cops more accommodating than they should be, but it's charming show with a lot of heart.

Believe me, that sucker-punch outta nowhere shocked EVERYONE. And it doesn't stop there, oh no, from there "THE TRAIN HAS NO BRAKES, CHOO CHOO!".

Yeah it only gets weirder. And in the end, depending how comfortable you are with certain things, it gets weirder in an entirely different direction

I saw Tokyo Ghoul being discussed pages ago, did anyone else feel like season 2 was just not as good as season 1? I'm only a few episodes in, but it feels like I'm not supposed to like the MC anymore...
