Alfndrate wrote: Jojo Part 1 is terrible (stars Jonathon Joestar), Part 2 is my favorite Jojo, and Part 3 is 2 25 episode seasons and is a great story and just continues to get more and more outrageous.
Eh, I actually enjoyed the first part, but then again, I only saw the first 2 parts. Has part 5 been released yet?
We've only gotten Part 1 (Phantom Blood), Part 2 (Battle Tendencies), and Part 3 (Stardust Crusaders), which was 2 seasons long. We're probably going to be waiting a long time for Part 4 (Diamond is Unbreakable) because of how many references are in it. It's not been a major issue with the other parts, but I guess the author and by extension David productions (studio making Jojo) don't have the rights to some of the references outside of Japan. So it's in a bit of a holding pattern.

Speaking of Gundam, I just found and started watching Gundam 0079...War in the Pocket to follow once I finish the original series. It's kind of hard to watch after starting with Gundam 00, Seed, etc.
I think Gate is my favorite so far, just because it's nice to see a competent modern military for once fighting the magical beasts. Also liking Six Braves or whatever that one is called, although it's kind of annoying that the basic overview description spoils a plot twist they've not even gotten to in the show after three episodes yet, so I know that's still coming. Gansta is definitely on the watch list though. There's a lot of stuff I like so far this season.

I found it really hard to enjoy honestly. Too many flash backs to Ouran High School Host club (which I didn't really enjoy).
Ooooh, see I liked Ouran High School Host Club. But that comparison aside I'm hoping that there are more "survival games" coming down the pipeline since the story seems to focus on the team wanting to be the best in Japan. But I could see how it could be hard to watch. I didn't pick it up because I was like "Airsoft?! pfft. that sounds stupid."

Finally gave Gangsta a try and I have to say, this is a damn cool anime. This is giving me a lot of Black Lagoon vibes <3

Yeah, also, this is probably the first time I've seen an anime have a deaf character and it being done awesomely.
I picked up Volume 1 of the Manga a few weeks before the anime aired to see if it was worth picking up, and I got really bummed in episode 1 when they're talking to the cops and Worwick is 'translating' for Nic. I thought that is how they were going to handle Nic's sign language, but episode 2 and 3 proved me wrong and made me happy that they're including it and just subtitling it.

Guess I better watch Aoharu, now...
...Yeah, there are some Ouran vibes here, and I am entirely okay with that

If you have the disposable income to get a 800€ pillow cover, welp, I hope you actually use it
And I was right about Anna (Shimoneta) it seems, I just freaking knew it.
Spoiler:
Anna is the biggest pervert of them all, the poor girl is like a guy who never tastes alcohol and then gets drunk. It looks like She has no idea how to control. She's going full rape mode next episode from what I see from the preview
And I just realized, the green haired shadow girl in the ED is Anna.

Anyway, started 'Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon". I love it.
Just started it with a buddy.
I went into it expecting something a little more like the Alfheim sections of SAO- one guy bumbling through a dungeon crawl, sequentially finding girls chained up, rescuing them, and having them join his party. Goofy antics, secondary focus on the fighting, and a lot more self-referential humour about it being a Harem-style anime, with the dude just living it up with all the girls fawning over him. (also, I expected the girls to all be goddesses).
Instead, it's actually got Story! and Plot! and pretty decent action that actually shows fighting! And a main character who's shaping up into a pretty decent Nightblade, who's 'special abilities' aren't actually reason for people to shower him with praise!
In short, I like it.

I swear its also exactly what I daydreamed about how a true to life DnD series might play out. "Dude I just leveled up!".
The way for them to "level up" is quite clever too I think.

DanMachi's biggest flaw was the wait between episodes. The final two episodes in that Forest were like pulling teeth waiting for that awesome final fight. Unfortunately we're probably going to be waiting awhile for the second season though, we've run through practically all of the Light Novel Volumes.

I suppose age is making me bitter.
That's why I like at least one cutesy anime a season, otherwise I get depressed...
Oh frak it's Monday! The timing, it is impeccable!

So Dungeon, I'm not sure if its a haram anime or not. Its kinda straddling the line, and doing so expertly.
