I.guess I'll check out the manga. I keep seeing it pop up on r/manga... But I'm tearing through Berserk atm. Volume 20 of 37. Also, Berserk's next chapter comes out in like a week.

The wait for new Berserk is agonizing. Miura only works on it intermittently. There have been periods of years without an update. He started working on it in '87 I believe? Either way, probably my favorite series bar none.

God-Emperor damn it, I knew Overlord was gonna be awesome. BUT THIS?! It blew my damn expectations through the roof and kept stomping them!

I felt so much sickening joy with the Death Knight stabbing that guy over and over and over again <3 and by reading reddit's comments about the ep and the LN, it seems that guy tried to rape the girl that ran away and killed her father because he stopped him and made it possible for them to run away.
Yes, I love that scene, I even laughed with glee as he was choking on his own blood.

Hmmm, hmmmm, hmmm! Let the dark path to world domination begin! Time to destroy some kingdoms with a story that will only keep getting darker <3 damn it, best season in years (for me)

Pity it will last only 13 episodes and most likely end on a cliff hanger :(

He also started off with his highest level spell and started to work his way down when testing his strength rather than start weak and work up.

It certainly seems interesting.

Seems like I've got a new set of anime to watch for the time being:

Gakkou Gurashi!
Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou

Those as well as the seemingly never ending Naruto Shippuuden. Its been a while since I've actually had multiple animes to watch all at one time.

Check out God Eater. I'm liking that one so far, especially the creature design.

And Gangsta, and Gate.

So as part of a plan to eventually watch the entire canon, I finished Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam . I'd heard it was one of the best-regarded series, and the one that really kicked it off as a franchise, and it's not hard to see why. Really great action, and it goes to some surprisingly dark and complex places, especially once the heroes are making deals with their enemies from the original series. And ouch, those last two episodes were pretty brutal.



Looking forward to moving onto ZZ, so I can see how things turn out from the state of play they were left in, and also to get an explanation of exactly what happened in the final episode.

Don't watch ZZ, its not good... I'm doing the same thing you are, and I skipped ZZ. Watch 8th MS instead.

Not true, ZZ can be good depending on your taste. I didn't like large parts of it, but it was still a decent series. Especially compared to a lot of the other series that take place outside of UC. But skipping it is fine since 08th MS Team, 0080, War in Pocket all take before Zeta and ZZ

Also, believe it or nor but "Bikini Warriors" is actually an awesome 4mn anime because it's always mocking RPG tropes:

1st ep: Female armor logic. The Bikini Armor actually worked and it's great.
2nd ep: Major quest to save the world. They give you like 10 gold.
3rd ep: "Because we are heroes, we can enter random villager's houses and loot everything!"

I'm Aang in that gif.

It got depressing and the moe was not enough to hold off the depression. I don't feel like I'm missing out.

I'll give it a chance, mainly because I really want to see how things progress, and how the cliffhanger gets resolved. I get the feeling that I might need some help later on in keeping the continuities and timeline straight. I get that the Universal Century is the "default" one, then it gets a bit fuzzy.

I wasn't at all shocked to see Katz die. He was a little prick the whole series that didn't follow orders that finally got what was coming to him. It was sad to see Emma go though

An that red head from Gundam Seed gets a pass b/c she's super hot. Not that her actual physically drawn character is super hot, but her character represented a hot girl from the real world. Everyone knows you get to act how you want if your super attractive

She was a massive bitch. No amount of being hot excuses being a witch.

I didn't even care that she was a bitch. My issue was how, especially towards the end of Seed, the series tries so hard to make you feel sorry for her. Yeah. She kind of passed the moral event horizon circa episode 13-16. There was no room for sympathy from that point on

Starting Foodwars. Seems interesting.
