Is 'Eavy Metal Calling?

Yes! No idea who those people are, but I was really hoping we'd be getting a junior version of the original team!
Very much looking forward to this film, especially after the excellent of DOFP.

No, I'm not a GoT-watcher. The name very vaguely rings a bell, but that's about it.

It's funny that she's not even a red head, but now seems fated to play red head roles.

Poor thing might have it in her contract that she can't mess with it like the guy that plays John Snow. So she's a redhead till she's dead in GoT

I approve this choice for young Jean. Good eye-candy! And she doesn't seem too bad of an actress either.

I had no Idea Sophie wasn't a natural Red Head, she certainly wears it well. She's a good choice.
So by the look of it, the old X-Men cast have now moved on and they are carrying on with the new guys. I don't think that’s a bad thing. DOFP really wrapped their timeline up nicely, wiping the abomination of The Last Stand out forever.
Is James McAvoy going to have to start shaving his head into a receding hair line at some point?

I bought the issue that follows when it first came out, and by and large I think most of the casting calls they made were pretty solid -- especially for Cyclops & Colossus.
Less impressed with the Juggernaut and Wolverine casting though

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Hugh Jackman isn't a good Wolverine?
Other than being too tall, he's done a pretty good job, I think.
So anyone know what the movie will be about yet? Apocalypse's first appearance, or the Age of Apocalypse alternate universe?

Basically, yes. Seeing as Rogue is still as the Institute at the end of that, we can assume some version of X1 happened, but as for the rest, if it did happen, it did so very differently. In the 'new future' that begins in 1973, Logan may never get Adamantium claws (as Mystique pulls him out of the river) and Cyclops/Jean never die, so we can guess that X2 and 3 didn't happen.
Nothing in First Class changes, though, as that was before the timelines split.

Sure, but that's a pretty rare exception at this point.
She looks way better as a redhead IMO. Hell, so does Salsa Stark. But I am a man who is mighty partial to redheads.
