to everyone attending the LVO this year...try not to get arrested and thrown in jail...it ruins a good miniature event...everyone enjoy...I know FLG has thrown the kitchen sink at making this years event a success, so it will undoubtedly be one!!

You appear to have 1 HQ too many.

Is he using a dual cad? Is LVO allowing a dual Cad? Or is he only allowed to ally with himself?

Disallowing Dual CAD made a lot more sense before all these super detachments came out.

Decurion/Tyranid Unbound button. etc.

Dual CAD is not allowed. All detachments are 0-1 so only 1 Combined Arms detachment.

Yep, if you want to have 2 detachments you'll want to go 6th edition style and go CAD + Ally or some other combination as outlined in the rules. Here is the short version just in case for anyone coming.

For instance I'll be Tau-Tau, and will be putting enclave into the allied detachment slot to function as battle brothers. The recent 0-2 CAD scene has kind of made this a bit of a relic but each tournament seems to have their own twist on the new CAD related rules.

1850 point limit.
2 Detachments Total. You may take any 2 detachments you wish, but may not repeat any detachments.
0-1-CAD (Detachment)
0-1 Codex Specific Detachment (Detachment)
0-1 Allied Detachment (Detachment)
Your Allied Detachment may be the same faction as your CAD.
0-1 Formation (Detachment)
0-1 Fortification (Please note, these are not a detachment, but a part of certain detachments such as a CAD. Only 1 may be taken in your list, regardless of which detachments you use.)
0-1 Lord of War (Please note, these are not a detachment, but a part of certain detachments such as a CAD. Only 1 may be taken in your list, regardless of which detachments you use.)

Decurion/RealSpaceRaiders/NemisisForce/TyranidLeviathan/etc makes me question why there is even a block on Dual CAD. It doesn't make sense

Many players don't consider Nids to be a top tier codex and the Necron codex dropped after LVO solidified it's 2015 rules. After this weekend I'm sure Reece is up for a long debate about duel cad for the BAO And next year's LVO.

Flyrants (more than Tyranids in general) are certainly competitive, but when all 4 lists shown here have them paired with either: a Barbed Hierodule, Daemons, a Void Shield Generator, or Necrons... I think GW has cut off their nose to spite their face

Three detachments, where only two are allowed.

That list is illegal under the LVO rules. You can only have a maximum of 2 detachments.

I've actually played against Reece's bolter-drilled scout army before. Back in 6th when he was running I believe Imperial Fists with twin-linked bolters (or something like that), he kicked my 6th Ed. wraithwing Oldcrons behind.

Fast forward to 7th Ed. with him running the Isadon-led Scout army against AV13 Oldcrons and I returned the favor.

I am fascinated by what will make the new BA scout army so good.

Please do not show up with 3 detachments or you are in for a very unpleasant surprise!

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Going to be a great time.

Well if I only play with 2 of the 3 detachments it's not against the rules to play with less than 1850 points, and that would make it easy to lose 6 games in a row in order to collect your super awesome wooden spoon prize.

Players can be wrong in large numbers. First impressions make lasting impressions. When the nid codex dropped it was as well received as showing up drunk to a job interview.
