That's not going to happen.
A Claymore would be far more appropriate as a Deathstorm Drop Pod...

Unfortunately i dont have any pics but back in the mid 90's I used the nozzle from an oxy acelylene kit as a cannon slotted into a cut bakalite hub from the steering components of a Unimog truck.
The hub was cut down to approx 40 degres with the bolt hole in the middle and the nozzle fitted nicely into the hole. It was then glued to a base and it made a nice futuristic cannon
Here are the components:
The left hand one was the cannon
this is the bakalite bracket I used
As you can see with the nozzle inserted (pointing upwards) the angle of the bracket looks like a nice angled gunshield Automatically Appended Next Post: Some strange ones from a single person who was in our gaming group in the 90's
- Slaanesh banner with a provocative body part sculpted on it surrounded by his girlfriends cut pubic hair
- Undead banner using a bat skull and claw (we had alot of bats in the area so they were readily found)
- Chaos landraider covered in hobby knife blades and fish hooks. He eventually got sick of stabbing himself and removed them.
He was a bit 'out there' when it came to building his armies

I've been wondering about this, though using used, dried coffee grounds. My wife's a big coffee drinker and we use a french press, so I've got a near unlimited supply of the stuff.
Anybody tried this?

While certainly not strange by any length or definition I've gotten a number of compliments on my tendency to use real rocks in basing. So many times people ask "What did you base this with? It's got some serious weight to it" To which I reply "Actual rocks."
I recently painted a realm of battle table for a friend of mine that I used a similar technique for. Beside the gravel patch that I pick rocks from I dug a hole and scraped up some clay. A little water and some egg whites added in and I could paint the surface of the battlefield with, well, actual dirt. Not only did it look like dirt but it felt like it too and works well for stopping models from sliding around.

This topic is singing the song of my people...
My recent jet includes two lemon meringue pots, a chopped up extension cable, part of a clock, a Star Wars toy I took a hacksaw to, some actual GW kit pieces, and about £0.30 in pennies to keep the base weighted so that it doesn't tip over and destroy someone else's model.
it used to have a spring loaded spear as part of the toy, but I wreched it out because the last thing I need is someone pressing the button and firing a harpoon (and surrounding models) across the table.

I used a tooth from my youngest daughter.. (she was 10 I think when I got it).. one of her last "baby teeth"
it plopped out on day at dinner.. she rinsed it off.. and then said.. "Dad.. can you put this on some of your undead models?? If so, I will sell it to you for $2.. since the tooth fairy only gives me $1."
So.. it is a banner topper on one of the undead skeleton regiments I have..

When my superglue fails, my tears act as an accelerator to hold the model together.
Joking aside (though that feels true enough for me, I hate gluing sometimes, just got into Pinning. It is so much better,) does taking weird bits from junk/factory machine cogs that have broken off to your home, repairing them, and then combining them to cast up as tank bits count?

Just looks cool to me. The bones appear to be well cleaned. I'd love to have something like that on my fantasy tabletop.
I do think it could use a bit more foliage winding up and over the spine though. If the dragon's spine has been there long enough for the body to decay, it'd have all kinds of vines snaking up it.

Gatorade cap has very interesting shape, small soy sauce dispenser caps work cool as small jet exhaust.
Guinness CO2 container is really good as structural element.
Guns - I suggest you to deconstruct soap dispenser cap. You will get 2 really nice guns.
And Pringles cap - golden for painting, pva glueing and casting flat textures.
And when it comes to the bones: just check what ebay has to offer in terms of skulls and taxidermy stuff.
Think this:

Hope it helps.
