Fair enough. Will just be happy FW hasn't caught BL 'flu and take your word for it. Assuming unshareable insider info

Latest Bulletin is out:
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/News/FORGE_WORLD_BULLETIN_60.html

Unusually long one. Talks about the Warlord unsuprisingly, as well as the exhibition hall. Also Tempest and the new shops that have opened within WW, and finishes with a brief plug for the FW open day in July.

I briefly looked at getting a ticket for the open day, but then found out it's a 5 and a half hour, £95 train ride. So maybe not.

No there's an open day in July neither way, I don't drive and none of my friends are in the hobby, so that's out haha.

- Robotte, looks off, like a 3rd party sculpt as someone said

- lord of lawns feet, Id prefer just using knights legs especialy that theyre plastic

- crosses on Warlord, its knightish head and knightish bits

I still want a Warlord though, should be easy to deknight especialy with the alternate head, it also made me want Reavers and Warhounds. Im still shockingly attractive so prostitution might work. Have to ask wife asap.

From the initial Age of Sigmar news thread, when its "feature" list was first confirmed:

A collosal, terrible, flaming, hysterical train wreck with burning clowns running around spraying it with seltzer bottles while ring masters cry out how everything is fine and we should all come in while the dancing elephants lurch around leaving trails of blood behind them.

How could I look away?

I wonder why they haven't mentioned their chaos knight conversion kits. I'd imagine those would sell like hotcakes, especially if they make some fallen/traitor knight rules...

I'm pretty sure they will get a big release in the next couple of weeks They are just less impressive than the Warlord, and not a new rulebook, so are behind those 2 currently. Probably tomorrow or a week tomorrow I would say.

I'm interested in how FW will issue the rules for the Chaos Knights as the last two IA books have both been Chaos in some form or another, and we've just had the next HH book with the next one not due till much later in the year. I'm hoping this means a PDF backed release...

You really don't see a difference in quality between

Spoiler:

and

Spoiler:

?

I see a huge difference between the only 3rd party sculpt I know of and the only official model of RG.

I saw this on /tg/ and didn't know whether it's news or not.

EDIT: It wasn't news

Looks like a Lord of Skulls leg kit in the background.

If it is news somebody might want to re-host the image.

Was news last week dude, it's from the WHW opening and has been fairly well distributed by now.

Ah, I've been out of the loop.

Is that a Lord of Skulls conversion kit after all?

Indeedy, but I've not seen much info about it beyond the pic (eg price, release date, if it comes with the relevant sprues or is just the resin bits etc)

Right?

There's nothing (except maybe a Chaos Knight) that directly impacts any ongoing or future projects for me, but more quality models in the world is never a bad thing.

Maybe there'll be experimental rules for the Chaos Knight when it goes up for pre-order.

Oh I have no doubt. I wonder what book they'll put them in, the other Knight variants have been in Horus Heresy books, right?

Yeah, but the Chaos one like that is maybe more likely to be in an Imperial Armour. It's still quite early in the Heresy for proper corrupted stuff like that. I dunno though.

I would love if they made the Lord of Skulls conversion a pdf release and price it in the like 300pt range. That would move that kit so fast, it would be silly, no matter the price.

I thought so too, but they just had a Chaos IA release with IA13 (Warmachines of the Lost and the Damned), so I dunno if they'd make another Chaos release or have it randomly in a book focusing on another army.

They don't tend to do plain old conversion kits anymore, so smart bet would be that it will be a complete kit and tie in to the next IA book(which has been delayed like three or four times and was supposed to be Elysians v. Tzeentchian cults fighting across facilities in an asteroid belt).

That'll be three books on the trot that have a Chaos focus, not saying it won't happen. I want a free PDF but they will have to cover the rules for at least the four GW Knights and possibly the five FW Knights as Chaos versions, bit of a good freebie and thus why I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
