While I like the Asterians, I'm not too keen on the Kaylishi. I prefer my space elves to be sleek and high tech, not half naked and mohawked. One thing I don't think many people noticed though, the 3 pictured in the sketch aren't all female. The one on the right with the bow is a dude.
It's probably all three genders in that photo.

Don't think we'll be seeing hard plastic Stormrage Vets at all, just Steel Warriors. A shame.
The Kalyshi are probably the least exciting, least wanted Asterian figures they could offer me for a faction I quite like as remote / robot oriented. I can put up with five metal Kalyshi specialists, but I still want my hard plastic battle droids.

Going to drop this one. Value isn't there for me in the Quarantine pledge, and their focus has switched to the Lockdown pledge which is 2x the cost. Only really want the terrain and the Pathfinders, so I'm better off waiting for retail.

I'm in almost the same boat, but I've found someone to take the Veermyn off my hands (and they can have the free booster too) so I think I'll stay the course.

That's not very goofy...
The pose is pretty darned goofy. It does not say 'professional soldier' at all.
And if they use the same sculpting team I suspect he inherits the goofy face the rest have, though hopefully I'm wrong and he retains the vicious DreadBall type face.

Anything they throw free into my Lock Down is fine by me, I just hope the desire for that model helps keep the pledges over time healthy. Maybe steel warriors at 300k?

Also, reminds me a little bit of a Marauder Grammaton Cleric.

I don't think it looks to goofy in the artwork to be honest but that's subjective as always. However, shave off 10-15% of the bulk of the legs, 'cause Mantic leg syndrome, add the weird smiley face that all the other DZ marauders have... Yep, its gonna be goofy.
