JohnHwangDD is right.

Sisters are still in the cannon, in the last campaign book, and they bothered to update the digital codex for 7th.

I say it's only a matter of time before they are transitioned into plastic, and when that day comes they'll get their new codex.

Not really. If you cannot realistically field your existing army as just that...an army then you've gone and joined the Squats for what it's worth. Support for your range will be minimal and that stagnation is pretty much what people have been wanting to avoid for years now. I feel really bad for the Kroot Mercenary players out there as they've essentially had an entire army they would have converted up reduced to a single unit in a codex that would require them to purchase other distinctly non-Kroot units in order to field. Not to mention that they'd be forcing a playstyle that just doesn't fit into this codex which will of course lead to the army faceplanting in games just due to not being effective. The Kroot Mercenary list actually had upgrades and wargear that benefited the aggressive playstyle that the Tau codex simply does not have.

If your army is reduced to a single unit in another list altogether then you are not in a healthy place at all. If you are reliant on fan publications (Dogs of War) for your army to function in the current edition of the game...well, you've been squatted. Sorry.

Now, perhaps if GW does go that derpy direction Forge World will pick the girls up and give them something worthwhile. Considering that FW publications have been considered tournament legal for the past few years that could be a good sign for them. They already have a few Forge World only vehicles and I think Forge World would actually like to expand the range and could do them justice.

And heck, pricewise it'd probably be cheaper than the current metal/finecast extortion. (£50+ for a squad of ten SoBs. What the absolute hell GW.)

Having a DoW and a Squat army myself I kinda have to say that shrinking an army is just the first stage in the whole removal process.

I guess you could do an Arbites Army Via the MT Codex but it wouldn't be the same.

I would not be surprised to see Kroot Mercs get a list before Sisters receive core plastics. Which is only possible because Kroot haven't been Squatted.

It already happened once.

And then the list (but not the models) was squatted.

Indeed. Even the new Skitarii Codex makes a small mention of the Skitarii working with the Adepta Sororitas.

Tyranid codexes and the 40k rulebook mention Zoats all the damn time.

Do you see any Zoats?

Just wanted to say that I like how WhispererofTruth's rumors are starting to fall into place... The only thing is that she listed the Assassins boxed set after Dark Angels (I think?).

In any case, I would not have guessed when she said it all that Eldar would start popping up, and then this Assassins boxed set. Bring on the Tzeentch!

She has been silent for a while..... I hope she comes back.

She has reiterated in a private message to me that Tzeentch will certainly be getting models, as she said earlier in this thread.

I am excited.. but I know GW hates Tzeentch CSM so we shall see

It's way early to declare WoT a success.

Yes, eldar and assassins were correct but the details of the eldar release were incorrect. Right now, we've got hardly 5 rumors actually tested and almost half are partially true(which was generous).

Yes of course, that's fair.

Time will tell.. It does make me wonder what they would fill June/July with if not Tzeentch.

About five years ago I started to save up money to start a sister of battle army whenever it released. I was so sure that it'd be so long that I only set aside a few dollars a month. Well we shall see if I am ever going to finally empty that box of waded up cash or not.
