The excitement level for this is going to be directly related to the price point.

It wasn't an issue with the links but rather with your usage of the IMG tags.

Don't worry about fixing it; I did it for you.

I'm kind of intrigued by the "zigzag" foam walls in the trays.

It looks like a much easier way for a "modular tray" without needing to cut/remove much.

That price doesn't seem to bad compared to the competition, since it includes both foam and a sturdy case. In fact they might be the cheapest alternative for this type of case.

I haven't shopped for a case in a long time.

Would love to know how these compare to "The Big Names" out there.

Hey, those prices are very decent. I was expecting these to be a lot more than they are.

I'm gonna check these out.

My mate spent many times the amount on custom battle foam and I couldn't justify that. Especially because I've had a GW case for years and never had a break.

These are some of the pictures I enjoy.

A KR multicase Kaiser 2, including 2 KR Card Cases (I Ithink you would need two cases to fit the Crusade army) is $180, and the Kaiser is a soft case and not a hard one. KR is an excellent product, and obviously I don't know how this compares.

Battle foam is more expensive than KR.

I agree that you probably need 2 KRU worth of foam for the big case. One thing to consider is that the $180 price if for full custom foam. The GW cases looks to be full of their new zig-zag foam, so you might want to compare the Kaiser 2 with core foam (which includes normal infantry and/or pluck foam) which is only $155. And while a soft bag, it does have things like pockets for dice, books, etc.

The GW midsized one looks to be about 1 KRU worth of space. KR either has a cheeper card case ($48) or more expensive alluminum/kaiser/backpacks (a bit over $100, depending)

The KR small (1/2 KRU) equivalents go for $37-72, depending.

I honestly thought this thread was going to be about upcoming GW court cases...

The GW Battle Case carries 200 figures for £50. The KR Multicase for 200 figures starts from £26.49 for a card case.

I guess it all depends what you want surrounding your foam, card or hard plastic.

I was interested in these when I first heard about them... but what's with the weird foam?

No clue beyond the production description.

The Crusade Case contains four two-tier foam trays, with zigzag shaped channels to snugly hold your miniatures. The channels speed up the process of loading and unloading your models, and remove the need for cutting chunks out of your foam.

I've been thinking about getting a new case for awhile and when these come out next Saturday, I will have to take a look at them in person.

Takes 25 - 40mm bases without worrying about compartment size?

Yeah, I think it's just a new way to handle the vagueries of model size. Also allows you to use it for multiple forces without swapping trays.

The ziggity zag foam seems like an interesting idea.

haven't seen it before so +1 actual innovation for them till otherwise shown wrong.

The fact that the same tray can go from infantry to dread is kind of nice. I suspect it might be good for bikes. Other vehicles I’m not so sure about the use of these cases. For anything that doesn’t fit in the zigs, it looks like the other option is to take them out and just have a foam lined cube. A little too much rattling around there for my taste.

I think it will be fine so long as you pack a few spare foam pieces to lock it all in place.

I already went with the magnetic option but i might be interested in a speed case like this. so loong as it isnt some limited edition thing like the apoc one.

At a glance, seem to be about half the cost of Battlefoam PACK cases of similar size. The trays don't inspire confidence, though.

Guess we'll see. I've got a stack of new Warhammer miniatures (everything from Night Goblins to Dragon Ogres) that I need to store somewhere and all my other cases are full.
