A BL short story was released a few years ago that was very explicitly about a Flesh Tearer who'd succumbed to the red thirst/black rage and started slaughtering Sisters on Armageddon. He manages to wipe out an entire squad of Battle SIsters by himself, including their Immolator tank (after tanking a sustained shot from the Immolator), then wanders off into the wilderness, hallucinating about fighting traitors at Sanguinus' side during the Heresy. A brother Flesh Tearer tracks the hallucinating Marine to an empty village hut and mercy kills him, then steps outside to find himself surrounded by an army of vengeful Sisters. The story ends with them gunning him down.

AnomanderRake wrote:Answer depends on the Sisters. What, you thought that all Space Marines came out of different cultures and had different values and personalities but all Sororitas were identical?
But the Space Marines. as you said, all come from different cultures with different values. The Sororitas all come from ONE culture with ONE set of values: the Schola Progenium. They can be of any racial background, but they're all Orphans raised by the Schola from a young age and indoctrinated in the most orthodox version of the Imperial Cult. So their beliefs are much more uniform across the board than the Space Marines.
Now, the Sororitas' Orders do have different battle histories and traditions (like many military regiments in real life) and they seem to choose recruits for particular Orders based on temperament and personality, but they still don't have anything close to the kind of cultural divisions found between Space Marine Chapters or between Imperial Guard Regiments. A Battle Sister from the Order of the Argent Shroud, and one from the Order of the Bloody Rose will have a lot more in common than an Imperial Fist and a Space Wolf will. They're pretty much the most uniform army of the Imperium, with the Skitarii being the only possible competition.

While it is true to say that Sisters are very simillar if not identical when it comes to upbringing and cultural background, all Orders follow a unique set of tradition and demeanor. While it's true that the difference between a Imperial Fist and a Space Wolf are much greater than the difference between an Argent Shroud and a Bloody Rose Sister, the two are still very different. Together they mesh almost seemlessly, but left on their own, you can see radical difference in terms of personnality, ethics and tactics. Considering that both adhere to the teachings of two different saints that were good friends beside being two very different kind of persons, this idosyncrasy explain the strange unity of the Sisterhood beside potential idiological clashes. So of course, the nature of the Order will influence a lot it's capacity to work optimaly with some Chapter and not others.
