Anyone have suggestions to combat the new invisibility psychic power?

The one and only sure fire way is Mr Clux

chuck him in a vehicle and keep him close by.

Other then that, anything that can directly target Psykers out like the old Crucibles of malediction, I think mind war, that funny one off warp storm table.

The most easily-accessible and reliable trick is volume. That or play Orks; Imperial armies are shooting at invisible foes with a third to a quarter of the accuracy they're priced for, Orks are shooting at invisible foes with half the accuracy they're priced for.

Balanced Game: Noun. A game in which all options and choices are worth using.

Kharn's special rules override invisibility, at least in close combat. Also I'd have to re-check the wording but Cypher might be able to still shoot at invisible units at full BS10 goodness. Tyranids might have a good use for spore mines against invisible units.

Nope! Because of the stupid way his betrayer thingy is worded, when he's alone, all attack rolls of 1 are misses :,(

But yeah, Invisibility is

Thanks for forge world, invisible stuff fighting my local IG tends to meet cyclops demolition vehicles face-first. They both die - but the cyclops is criminally cheap!

He can reroll with hatred on the first round.

Blast things near by (it's not the same rule as flyer where they can only be hit by snap shots it says they can shots where they are "targeted" are fired as snap shots).
If you use bikes, your hammer of wrath hits still hit normally.
Beam powers work, depending on which of the 50 interpretations of how psychic shriek work your play group uses that will work to (why the $#@& isn't there an FAQ on this, seriously i cant find 2 people that play psychic shriek the same way!)
Re-rolls and mass fire is still nice.

I use tau and there aren't that many options against invisibility except mass fire.

As many Markerlights as you can fit in.

Chain them till you get full bs or better.

Large units of wyverns. You can get 5 in a unit for R&H. Target the initial blast on a nearby enemy unit. You now have 19 blasts each one with a 5/9 chance of getting a hit. Walk it onto the invisible unit with multiple barrage rule. Won't work against invis vehicles of course.

Same goes for stomp attacks (greater brass scorpion hooooo).

Then there are R&H with cov of tzeentch or the new mechanicus walkers that both get bs2 snap fire (with the mechanicus walkers being twinlinked).

Torrent weapons as long as they hit a model in the original target unit.

Weapons that effect models rather than hitting such as the Black Mace. Although this doesn't include auto hitting weapons due to the wording of snap fire so the scope is limited here as to how many weapons aside from the Black Mace fit this catagory. I suppose spore mines an mucolids would go here.

Sadly, I believe not (it says that rolls of a one are ignored, and so are not misses - so not affected by hatred).
Yeah, I agree that hatred is pretty pointless on this guy

I think I remember Nightbringer's Gaze Of Death ability being able to affect invisible units, but I can't recall the details.

Things that dont roll to hit except templates work.

Old necron doomray worked because it choses a point and draws a line.

Novas work however if its invisibility then chances are they will have a decent chance at dispelling.

HoW don't care about your invis. DE Reavers smoke invis stars, and Harlies w/Embraces do a number as well. Invis doesn't do jack against HoW.

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

The new Daemonkin Rune artifact causes doubles to perils within 24", seems like a good thing against them.

Too bad you're not allowed to take multiple artifacts iirc. That's the same with ork codex. Good artifacts that noone takes simply cause you need the better ones and can't take multiples.

DE.
126 points for 2D6 S6 rending HoW hits.
Bombs can hit? Voidraven, S9 AP2 large blast bomb.
You can score a S6 no save of any kind hit with each crucible of malediction. Wish we can cram more in.
Volume of fire with splinter boats, ~20 poison shots with re-rolls. It's ~6 poison hits.

Which armies?
Orks? DE? Daemons? Necrons?
Those were the last four referenced armies in this thread, and I'm pretty certain they all see some pretty decent to heavy play in most metas...

I play Tau so I don't have much in terms of psychic defense other than Farsight Enclaves which gives me 4+ deny the witch. Even then though I can't use it against invisibility. Which is a blessing not a malediction.

I fee like the only options I have is either mass missile sides and missile drones, heavy amounts of markerlights, or dropping a pulse bomb from a Sun Shark bomber on the invisible unit.

Marker lights to buff your bs - works for snapshots.
