The fine detail on that minotaur makes sense now, it's a much larger model than I thought.

I'm liking Remy's sculpts a lot too.

I may have to pledge, even though I am running out of room to put more board games in!

Backed at $1. All these KS have me drained. I haven't done any zombicide stuff before, and the switch to fantasy was a good jumping on point for me. Currently at 168 miniatures for the $150 pledge level by my count.

Those minis look great!

I hope they survive the translation to PVC/Boardgame plastic OK though.

Hopefully CMON is upping the size on these minis a bit as that should help...

So the current count for KS exclusive minis is something like 13 or so? 12 survivors and 1 snow white zombie, I think?

And if briefly scanning previous zombicide ks pages is any indication, the previous total of original, non-add-on KS exclusive sculpts for KS exclusives (per original sculpt, a survivor / zombivor would count as 2) is around 22?

I've never invested in Zcide before, so I'm curious how the value of pledging in this one will measure up to previous campaigns. But if my very sloppily collected data is any indication, we're a few days in and about halfway to previous totals in terms of KS exclusive original sculpts.

I'm also asking because I'm trying to get some sense as to how far ahead of schedule we might be in terms of whatever CMON's actual game plan for the campaign was. (I.e., they commissioned X number of original concept art drawings / sculpts / exclusives with a certain, lower campaign trajectory in mind, and at some point they could run out.) They $75k price point finally slowed stretch goal accumulation down to about 1 a day, but the first couple days seemed to catch them off guard.

Finally, the Abominotaur is already revealed and included. How are they ever going to top that sculpt in size, execution, and drama? The word "Dracobomination" is too stupid to be published.

I wouldn't worry about losing detail on Thrud or the Black Currant, at least.

My guess is that they're planned out to around $3-3.5MM.

You have to remember that, with 9700 backers, a single $10 add on has the potential to bring in more than enough to reach a $75K stretch goal.

I'm hoping we'll see a Brom guest artist box, but I'm not holding my breath.

I could see that happening for sure. I'd imagine we'll see some really cool stretches at $2,255,018 and $2,849,064 (Z2 & Z3, respectively). I could also potentially see them having a stretch at $3,327,757 (Conan), which would make sense to be their last stretch goal.

I wouldn't worry about losing detail on Thrud or the Black Currant, at least.

Based on what they've done with the increased quality of their sculpts from Z1 to Z3, I feel really good about quality. Hopefully my faith isn't misfounded.

Additionally, I have a feeling the "white bottoms" for the NPCs are going to be the little base covers that they have for games like Arcadia Quest.

Well, both of them are parodies themselves (Hitch of David Bowie as the Goblin King in Labyrinth, Morgan is Merlin from Excalibur)

Other likely ones are

Bob the Conjurer (Tim the Enchanter from Monty Python and the Holy Grail)

Seconded, and Larry Elmore, John Howe, Jeff Easley, Wayne England, and Geoff Taylor.

...and lets bring back Kev Walker, Karl Kopinski, Edouard Guiton (even though he's obviously still a core artist for GG), and Paolo Parente since we got Adrian Smith to do another box.

It's too bad Frank Frazetta is no longer with us...

So, with 80% of the backers from Z3 already pledged, no add-on characters so far, and 25 days to go and them already opening stretch goals up to 80k between stretches, how does everyone think they'll keep momentum or regain it once this slows down? It looks like they were caught off guard and have went to wider stretch goals much earlier than Z3.

This is really great stuff, just interested to see where it heads from here, with the inevitable slow down.

Just one of those things that people join in time, be it debating whether or not they should or discovering it via a friend's facebook post are talking about it on game night.

Also how did you know 80 percent of the backers from Z3 are on this? Does Kicktraq allow you to see those kind of stats?

I think it is an assumption that the backers are all from Z3 and not new or other backers. At least that is what I would have to think, only the KS creator could possibly generate something that could identify and compare backers from Z3 to now. Z3 had 12,011 backers and we're at 9,913 backers currently.

In the gameplay video, are they playing on a smaller than normal board? It just looks tiny compared to pics I've seen of normal Zombicide.

Scenarios use different numbers of tiles. Some use 4, some use 6, others even more.

Alex is right of course, but yeah 4 tiles is smaller than average.

6 to 9 tiles are more common.

I suspect they were playing on 4 tiles because it a demo game/tutorial.
