Sorry, can't copy the update over, but new guest artist NEAL ADAMS , I might not pass his up in the pledge manager.

did have to laugh that one of the models he created was supposed to have a flaming sword...... They made the model with an axe.

Btw, do we know which of the stretch goals will be added to the retail box and which we are getting extra as backers?

None of the stretch goals are being added to the base game what they started with in the base game is the retail version. Some of the stretch goals like the Guest Boxes and NPCs will be available to purchase separately at retail.

As far as I remember none of the stretch goals have added to the retail box. The rest are extras for backers.

Oh! Quite a substantial amount of extras then.

Exactly. Roughly speaking, the ZC extras are comparable in volume to the game itself.

Yeah, his art style certainly is quite unique, but honestly the sculpts are what I'm most interested in at the end of the day, and they seem sort of meh imo. The blacksmith is really the only figure in there I'd like to get - the others are fairly bland or, honestly, bizarre...I may pick them up at retail eventually, but not during this campaign.

While I'm not really against the Batman and Joker stretch goals I just have to ask "we're there not enough fantasy characters to pull for this setting?" Plus now that we have Sir Gilbert, can we get a Bunnyabomination?

Well, maybe it's just because I absolutely love Batman, and I'm obsessed with Arkham Knight, but I love Scowl and Grin. I'm liking the comic book heroes, too.

Kingdom Death Fanatic. Dark Eldar: Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Dark Elves: Allegiance to the Black Crown. Also, Masons, Cygnar, and Legion of Everblight. All unnamed.

Holy gak that is an awesome username. Please tell me your army is called Kabal of the Fragile Breath. Morathi's Darkest Sin has some competition here for best handle, I think.

nope - but I seldom take much notice of comic artist (?) names tbh

Agree with a previous poster - the models just don't grab me - unlike the Thudd ones or indeed the Skeleton archers

The final guest box - this one is a limited edition - one print run and that's it.

I liked the art but the sculpts don't quite match up.

So that's a lot of guest boxes 10 paid for and 3 included with the pledge. I had it in my head to get 5 from the start and there are 4 I find to be an easy pass and the Kopinski boxes are very similar (to me) so one of those goes.

Most of these guest boxes are really uninspired, which is strange. Is the fantasy genre really played out?

Well the not batman and not joker had me thinking of what else I could do to the set. Then it hit me apprentice Milo minus the hat, but with a stupid paint job could become a young Robin character. His stance even makes me think that he's in training to wrestle zombies with lots of "Bang" "Pow" and "Crash" sounds attracting more zombies.

I really only want the base game and batman//joker... Wonder how much they will sell for on ebay and if it is better to just pay 50.00 now and get the expansion or wait it out.

I've asked this before and was told that tjey're not that compatible with GW figutes, but having those zombies would be great reimforcements for the Word Bearers I'm REALLY imspired to fimally get up and running and then bigger and badder.

So: ANY pics of Zombicide next to SM? Would it work if the Marines are made half a head or so taller (NOT going to make them full on bigger-than-Terminator true-scale)?

It seems a fun game in his own right, but a double purpose make s buying it easier to justify

http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=40836.0 Has a comparison shot of the Zombicide (S1) zombies with a marine. I assume the scale of these will be the same.

I was considering using the zombies for other projects too. In your case you could always use the wolves as Khrone Dogs (hounds of Khorne) allies, summoned demons if your doing Word Bearers. Plus you'd have some other excellent trade pieces by going with the $150 pledge. I was thinking of doing a double $100 pledge, but changed to the $150.

Judging by previous exclusives if you don't want the extras you will easily make back the extra money you pay by upping your pledge if you buy the knight pledge now and just sell everything you dont want.

If you get the lower pledge and wait for batman and joker to become available you will very likely pay the extra $50 just for those two alone.

Yeah, I see what you mean!

I didn't pay much attention to it as the sculpts in that box set do absolutely nothing for me.

using the "base" to make a size comparison it looks to be a similar size to the regular survivors.

The Abominatroll is an Abomination, and as such it gives 5 XP when killed and its attacks cannot be blocked by armour rolls. Unlike other Abominations, however, a Damage 3 weapon is not enough to kill it. This monstrosity can only be destroyed by Dragon Fire!

The Abominatroll is big, very big, but also incredibly stupid. It will roam around aimlessly until it spots a Survivor. But when it does see you, it will go mental and rush to tear you apart! The Abominatroll normally has only 1 Action per activation. However, if it activates with Line of Sight to any Survivors, it will then get 3 Actions for that activation! Hide away from this freak, and you may evade it. Get caught in the open and you will be well and truly trolled!

It looks like there will be a box set of the 3 special abominations available both on KS and retail once this unlocks.
