Must say I like the look of those brushes.
I also can't say I see much difference in brushes, but maybe its time I tried new ones. Currently using W&N but I don't like them much. I always get little hairs coming out and creating a small "dot" of paint at the top of the brush. I'll have to pull/cut that longer one out :(
This happens with every Kolinsky sable brush. The dot of paint on the top is simply paint drying on the tip

Just wipe it off with a paper towel, or even your fingertips. The hairs that stick out on the side you should never pull; almost always, you can train them to fall back in line by conditioning your brush before they dry -- twist them while wet across the palm of your hand or lips, and dry them facing down. You should always clean them in soap or brush soap too.
I actually think that synthetic brushes are quite nice to use; they're very springy and are very beginner-friendly. They go where you want them to go more than natural hair brushes, though they hold less paint. The major downside to them is twofold: the tip kinks, rendering them useless, and, they do not form a razor sharp point (unless they are a tiny tiny brush), which prevents them from doing a lot of the precision work.

GW brushes. I'm not very good at looking after my brushes, I do try but I go through them fast, and I don't want to waste money on a more expensive brush. I've never had much luck finding similar quality but cheaper brushes in hobby shops. They are either terrible or end up costing more.
Can't say I'm looking forward to the new brush range as I imagine it'll come with a price rise.
Yeah, I think the old Citadel brushes are perfect for this -- people who want a decent brush but don't want to kill themselves maintaining them, and would rather buy a fresh brush every now and then. The new brushes are about the same price, I think. If you scroll up to the previous page, I put in the MSRPs in USD and
