As for my own entry, I've just spontaneously agreed to go to Barcelona on Thursday (Primavera festival - any Dakkanauts going?) so I've got a mad rush on now to be finished...

Paradigm, if that is too many pictures... please feel free to drop whichever ones you want I just did my usual layout thing for my finished models. The second picture is actually the same as the one of the photos in the collage; it's just blown up bigger And... THANK YOU again, bud. We all know it's a lot of work that you do to keep an event like this running from one month to the next.

Hey guys

I've been following the entries closely and wow there many in there that far outpass anything I think I could do. Its going to be hard to choose between them.

Heres my entry, its not perfect but I'm very happy with how it turned out considering its my first ever in something like this lol

If anyone wants to take the time to write a reply it I'd love some pointers or constructive critique on how to improve.

Looks great to me! Perhaps it could do with some spot colour just to break up the red a bit (white or yellow would do perfectly), but other than that it's grand!

he's looking cracking midget gems. really nice wee fig and a tidy paintjob to go with it. I might (and this is prob just me) add a bit of the ol' zenithal lighting to the ork's flesh and the top of the wheel guards....but as I say that's just me. Looking great though.

Some really tidy entries this month (every month actually - but let's focus on the here and now

I likes it, the WIP progress you've posted shows how much work you put into it. I particularly liked the small details like the properly sprung suspension.

I may not have the time to paint more this week, so this might be my final product for this first participation in the challenge!

I've seen a LOT of exquisite models here, from which I hope to get some inspiration for next time.

Put in a bit of all-nighter to get I finished as off on hols tomorrow, but pretty happy with the result. Still practicing weathering so its a bit rough, but will come back to it once I've had some more practice. Makes a nice change to get something finished for once! Thanks everyone for inspiring me to get it done by all your hard work and excellent models, and thanks to Paradigm for organising all this, must be a mammoth task.

That's a really convincing scratchbuild you've done there, Midget Gems (Love that name too.. I could murder a bag of Midget Gems).

In terms of CC, I'd be willing to bet that your mini looks much better in person than in your pics because the lighting in your pictures isn't great. I really struggle with that aspect of this competition too.

If you've got time before the deadline, have you ever tried checkers? I find they break up large panels on Ork vehicles really nicely. They don't have to be neat; in fact the more haphazardly daubed onto the buggy the better!

All in all, great job man!

Not 100% happy with him, and I know there is more I should do, but I’m calling him done. Might revisit him later to do some freehand a/o apply some transfers, but I want to get more paint on the army as a whole before I do that. So my final entry for this month:

It is with a heavy heart that I have to concede defeat this month.

Had I had the weekend to work on my entry I reckon I would've made it but, alas, I only have myself to blame for that.

I didn't even have time to set up my crappy light box so it's a backward step in terms of photo quality as well (hard as that may be to believe for those of you that saw my effort last month).

Anyway, thanks Paradigm for once again doing such a grand job & good luck everyone!

@NidLifeCrisis: If THAT is defeat, your victories must be really sweet! Looks good even if it is somehow unfinished!

As for my entry, I should have final pics up tomorrow, possibly the next day depending on how much I get done. All that is left is a couple of tiny touchups and to finish the bases (texture paint is already applied, still need to wash and drybrush and add grass tufts).
